Home No. 1 Base,
under Shen Jin's leadership, slaughtered zombies relentlessly.
By day, the four Zombie Slaying Squads wreaked havoc; by night, the Dark Night Angel Squad harvested them mercilessly.
A week later,
the Zombie Slaying Fourth Squad led by Tong Zhen had cleared every area between Home No. 1 and the sea.
With this area cleared, Shen Jin could begin building the first defensive line!
The coastline lay due south of the base, in the area Shen Jin had passed over when flying in from D City.
In the future, Shen Jin could establish a route from Home No. 1 to the sea,
and take possession of every building along the way!
These included the Train Station, a fertilizer factory, a clothing factory, foreign trade warehouses, Q City Port, and more.
Q City Port, in particular, was where Shen Jin had first made his fortune. He had found all kinds of industrial resources and cold-chain food there,
which had continued to sustain his consumption to this day.
The warehouses around the port were also a treasure trove, holding all kinds of export goods. Half the things in Shen Jin's "Heaven, Earth, Black, Yellow" warehouses had come from here.
Back then, Shen Jin had spent a full half month moving supplies out of the port and the surrounding warehouses.

With a [Jetpack] on his back, Shen Jin flew along the cleared coastline.
From time to time, survivors emerged from the seaside apartments, villas, and hotels to look up, then their mouths fell open.
Some even arranged broken furniture into "SOS."
These were all survivors who had chosen not to join Home No. 1.
They generally shared one characteristic: they were fairly united internally and had at least one superhuman to hold things together.
