The dismissal bell finally rang, and the students poured out of the classroom like refugees, still shaken as they discussed the bizarre scene from earlier.

Skofot followed the crowd out of the classroom, but the moment he crossed the threshold, his steps halted.

Standing at the classroom door like a cold statue was Severus Snape.

His black robes billowed, his face darker than the bottom of a cauldron, and his eyes—like poison-dipped daggers—were fixed firmly on Skofot.

Clearly, he had timed it perfectly and come specifically to block him.

"Leoqi." Snape's voice was low and dangerous, like a snake hissing. "I think we need to talk. About your recent... unusually active movements."

The students who had not yet gone far instantly held their breath and instinctively backed away, unwilling to approach the center of this crushing pressure.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione also stopped, watching anxiously.

The habitual smile on Skofot's face did not change in the slightest. He even gave a slight nod, his tone calm. "Good afternoon, Professor Snape. I'm sorry, but I have other arrangements this afternoon."

With that, he actually turned sideways and attempted to slip through the narrow gap beside Snape.

A cold glint flashed in Snape's eyes. His skeletal hand shot toward Skofot's arm like lightning.

"I don't think you have any choice, Leo—"

His words cut off abruptly.

Skofot's body seemed boneless as he slipped out of Snape's grasp at an unimaginable, nearly twisted angle.

It was not speed. It was more like prediction and absolute control over the limits of his body.

Snape had not even touched his sleeve.

Snape's pupils contracted slightly, and his other hand almost simultaneously raised his wand.

But Skofot was faster.
