"Boss, this guy can really fight."
Vodka adjusted his sunglasses, whose bridge had snapped, his words leaking air through his mouth.
Gin smoked silently. What a useless fool.
He had told him to put the newcomer in his place, only for the newcomer to teach him a lesson instead.
Kogoro Mouri rolled his shoulders. It had been too long since he exercised; he had almost gotten beaten to a pulp.
This organization didn't seem all that impressive. They acted all high and mighty, but their fighting skills were this lousy. If they didn't have guns on them, I wouldn't need to fear them at all.
Gin somewhat regretted not bringing Guchuan along. Though that guy was terribly disobedient, he probably would have loved a job like beating someone up.
"Move."
Gin grabbed Kogoro Mouri by the neck and dragged him toward the basement.
Vodka followed behind Gin with his head lowered. Damn it, he had embarrassed the boss again.
Before long, Kogoro Mouri left the bar battered and bruised.
"Damn criminal organization, do you really think the renowned detective Kogoro Mouri would submit to you?" Kogoro Mouri spat on the ground.
Dream on. Kogoro Mouri would never coexist with evil.
"Ran, where are you right now?"
"Okay, stay home and don't go out. Don't go anywhere. Be careful of anyone who comes to the house, and be ready to run at any time."
"It's just someone I offended in one of my previous cases. Call your mother and tell her to be careful too."
Kogoro Mouri called Ran. He did not tell his daughter about the criminal organization, only telling her and her mother to be more cautious.
He did not believe rats hiding underground would not fear the police.
Kogoro Mouri waved down a taxi.
"To the Police Station."
