At the center of the Styx Galaxy, a computer composed of countless crystalline structures appeared before Snow. It was the Great Clock, the most powerful Celestial Computer in the known universe.

However, what appeared was not the Great Clock's true body, merely a tiny projection of it placed before Snow. As for where the Great Clock itself was, no one knew. Snow only knew that after Carl brought it into the Styx Galaxy, she had hidden it somewhere unknown.

Scanning! Commander: Snow. Permission level: temporary authorization. Authorizer: Carl. Permission granted.

Object analysis complete. Spacetime coordinates confirmed. Beginning deployment!

Snow raised his hand, and a small spatial wormhole enveloped the Jade Wall before it vanished. At the same moment, the Jade Wall that had arrived on Dobilun Star shone brilliantly.

An invisible ripple shot into the sky and raced toward the universe. With its mission complete, the Jade Wall, which had been glowing moments ago, returned to its plain and unremarkable appearance.

Snow looked at his empty hands, a faint trace of regret appearing on his face. After all, it had once been left behind by the Super Seminary. Handing it over so easily truly was a pity.

Before long, Dead Song Academy returned to its usual tranquility. Snow stepped into a spacetime wormhole and began his journey to Earth.

The clash of strength, the contest of bodies—it was primal and intoxicating, a feeling other weapons could never provide.

Withdrawing his gaze, Yuan finished walking through the battleship's corridor.

"Mm, I've met today's exercise quota. Time to head back."

Over the past few months, having gathered quite a few resources, Yuan had built his own laboratory aboard the battleship.

The experimental process was far more tedious than the battleship's voyage. At least the voyage had a clear destination. As long as they kept moving toward it, they would arrive someday.

Experiments were different. They were nothing more than an idea combined with data calculations, and countless variables could arise during the process.

Restricted by the level of technology, Yuan's progress in God-making Technology was extremely slow. Without other knowledge for comparison, he could only study the energy patterns within his own Divine Body.

Enlightenment's database was now filled with his conjectures and recreations of those energy patterns. Unfortunately, not a single example had succeeded.

He had made some guesses about the Dark Dimension and Dark Energy, but they still required verification.

Today, his most important task was to establish an independent energy supply for the laboratory. At the same time, he would make a few upgrades to his battle armor and maintain an information gap against Cole and the others.

After closing the laboratory doors, Yuan removed his Commander's Battle Armor and returned to his usual appearance.

He had put a great deal of thought into this laboratory. He had deliberately connected his living quarters to several decommissioned cabins, giving it a considerable amount of space.

The surrounding walls had all been reinforced, and there was even a small supply bay and armory. Even if the battleship were shattered, he could build a small engine and take the laboratory away.

With a flick of his right hand, the final data point was entered into the model. A three-dimensional projection of a crystal core appeared before him, an irregular crystal formed from several cubic shapes.

Golden light shimmered across the crystal core, while wave after wave of energy fluctuations appeared on the display.

"Enlightenment, run the calculations."

"As you wish, Master. Enlightenment has activated. Scanning target and establishing a data model."

Enlightenment's voice came from the battle armor beside him as a red glow from its tactical visor swept across the entire laboratory.

Core data recorded. Data model established. Accessing the knowledge base for simulated calculations.

Five percent!

Twenty percent!

Thirty percent!

Thirty...

Listening to Enlightenment's calculations, Yuan was in no hurry. He pulled over a chair and leaned back. Before long, an exhilarating voice reached his ears.

"The calculation was successful. Master, the new Light Energy Core is extremely refined. Its energy density and stability surpass the battleship's Stellar Furnace. Your miniaturization approach was a great success. Congratulations!"

Enlightenment's successful calculation brought a smile to Yuan's face. He pinched the projected crystal core between his fingers and glanced around.

"Haha. Enlightenment, prepare for a major refit. We're making hardware again."
