"Energy replenishing. Warning: energy is being rapidly depleted. Energy is being rapidly depleted."
Morgana paid no heed to the warnings from the Little Clock. Though she had fallen on hard times, she still did not care about a bit of energy.
"Quit the damn warnings and record Yuan's current state! What the hell is he doing?"
Forget Morgana—even Yuan did not know what he was doing. But he had a feeling that this would work, just like before.
Blue light blazed in his eyes as terrifying energy surged through his Divine Body at extreme speed. Yuan carefully observed the energy patterns within his Divine Body that had never lit up before. At the moment his mind stirred, they shone with brilliant light.
"Analyzing target. Analysis fai—beep? Analysis successful?" Morgana's eyes widened. She felt as though she had seen a ghost. After living for tens of thousands of years, she had actually heard surprise in the Little Clock's cold voice.
"Target analysis successful. Data recording in progress. Space-time algorithm calibration complete. Initiating space-time jump."
As the voice fell silent, Yuan and Morgana vanished from Dobilun Star. In the remote area, the Holy Spirits who had been waiting for half a day finally let out a sigh of relief.
They had thought something had happened to Yuan and Morgana, leaving them waiting here in a state of anxious panic.
"Your Excellency, Your Majesty, what was that?"
"Forget it. We'll talk about it later. Rest up for a bit. The Little Clock needs to draw some energy. We're crossing dozens of galaxies with this many people, so it'll take quite a lot of energy."
There were some things Morgana was too embarrassed to say. In her eyes, this amount of energy was nothing. The key was that drawing too much stellar energy would make it easy for the angels to detect them.
This time, she had returned in crushing defeat, and her third-generation Divine Body had been severely damaged. Even now, she had not fully recovered. If Kaisha set her sights on her at a time like this, she could only seek Carl's help.
Yet on Dobilun Star, she had just ground Carl's face into the dirt. Going back to beg her for help right afterward was something even Morgana, thick-skinned as she was, could not accept.
They were safe for the moment anyway. As long as the Little Clock kept its energy absorption rate within reasonable limits, it would not take long. Holding back and waiting a little was no big deal.
Morgana had guessed correctly. While they were resting, Angel Yan arrived, her Wings of Space-time fluttering behind her.
Dobilun Star, outer space. Angel Yan activated the Eye of Insight and carefully scanned the vast dark data.
"Strange. There's nothing?"
"It isn't that there's nothing. Someone wiped it clean." Just as Angel Yan muttered to herself, a crisp voice rang in her mind.
"Hm? You are... the Heavenly King!"
"That's right, it's me. I never imagined that after so long, there would still be little angels who remembered me. Hehe, should I be touched?"
Angel Yan whirled around. This time, she felt that teasing voice was right beside her. Though sound could not travel through space, her instincts told her it was behind her.
"You!" The Sword of Flames appeared in her hand in an instant, its blade pointing straight behind her. Hexi's sudden appearance had clearly startled her.
"Enough. Don't point that toy at me. Even if I'm only a projection, the toy in your hand is beneath my notice."
"Queen Kaisha never said that you would come in person, even if it is only a projection." Angel Yan lowered her sword slightly, but did not put it away completely.
"Hehe, the Queen. She was afraid you wouldn't be able to handle things and might run into danger, so she insisted I come. I agreed." With that, Hexi lazily stretched, her graceful figure and flowing white hair displaying endless charm.
Even Angel Yan had to admit that Hexi, the Heavenly King, truly deserved her reputation as Angel City's most beautiful angel.
"So what do we do now? The dark data was wiped clean. I can't find any useful information."
"That's you, not me." Hexi tapped Angel Yan, then slightly wrinkled her nose. The expression on her face shifted.
"A familiar scent, full of aggression. Oh, and the foul stench of death. So it really is you." Then Wings of Space-time suddenly appeared behind her armor. Wearing a meaningful expression, she shot forward and appeared on Dobilun Star.
"Heh, just as I thought. Man—uh." Realizing Angel Yan was still behind her, Hexi stopped herself from saying "man-hater" and switched to calling her Queen Kaisha.
"Queen Kaisha was right. Corruption and death always stink together. The dark data here is full of their stench."
"You mean Death God Karl and Morgana have joined forces? I'll contact the Queen immediately."
"Why are you contacting her?" Angel Yan's cry of alarm left Hexi with a face full of question marks.
"I'll ask the Queen to give the order. Death God Karl dared to collude with Morgana—her crimes cannot be forgiven. I'll lead a team and burn Dead Song Academy to the ground." In the last holy war, Morgana had caught the angels off guard.
As a high-ranking angel, Angel Yan had not yet become the Angel Left Wing at the time. But many subordinates who had been as close as sisters to her had died in that battle. That was why she became so agitated upon hearing news of Morgana.
"Heh. Hehe. Do as you please. I can't be bothered to say anything." Hexi silently rolled her eyes, thinking that Kaisha had truly spoiled these little angels rotten.
Death God Karl and Demon Queen Morgana—neither was easy to deal with. Especially Karl, who had hidden away in the Styx Galaxy researching her void. After all these years, who knew what results she had achieved?
Now, even Kaisha herself admitted that it was becoming harder and harder to suppress this former student. And Angel Yan wanted to lead a team to burn down Dead Song Academy? She would not die laughing if Morgana heard that.
Hearing Hexi's sneer, Angel Yan frowned, unable to understand what she meant.
Hexi ignored her and turned her gaze toward the deathly silent Dobilun Star. Suddenly, she seemed to discover something. With a beat of her wings, she appeared above the ruins.
"Hm? Such a small disturbance? This doesn't look like a battle between main gods. There also seems to be information from beast bodies."
At this moment, Hexi became interested in what had happened on Dobilun Star. She activated the Eye of Insight and carefully organized Dobilun Star's data. For God-making civilizations, deleting dark data was simple, but restoring it was difficult.
Still, while restoring the dark data of a god or super soldier was difficult, it was not impossible to investigate and replay some of the traces.
Yes, it was difficult, but not impossible. Especially when the target was Hexi, one of the Three Kings of Angel Civilization and a main god who also possessed a Celestial Computer. She was the remarkable woman who had single-handedly driven Angel Civilization's technology forward at breakneck speed.
Under Hexi's command, the Heavenly Computing Cluster began to operate. Scenes and data rapidly merged and were deduced one after another.
Outside, Hexi's smile grew wider and wider. In the end, she even covered her mouth and laughed.
"Raising the banner again to slay Yanluo? Good, very good. Bright, warm, kind, and brave. Perfect—absolutely perfect."
"Heavenly King, what are you doing?" Seeing Hexi's increasingly strange behavior, Angel Yan hurriedly interrupted her train of thought.
"Hehe, Angel Yan, you little angels are in luck."
"Luck? What kind of luck?" Meeting Hexi's strange yet slightly envious gaze, Angel Yan asked.
"Happiness!"
