Qian Xunji served as Spirit Hall's Pope during Chen Yue's early years in Spirit City. Recognizing the value of Chen Yue's martial-soul theories, he was willing to offer Bibi Dong in marriage as leverage to retain Chen Yue within Spirit Hall. Chen Yue refused, seeing through Qian Xunji's intentions. 1 2

He later abdicated as Pope and became a Judgment Elder of the Worship Hall, while Bibi Dong ascended as Pope with Qian Daoliu's backing. Despite stepping down, he retained considerable influence among Spirit Hall's Title Douluo. 2 269 323
