Li Weiyi first survives the chaos aboard the Bronze Ship, using explosives made by Cai Yutong to temporarily repel a bear-like creature that breaches the ship's boarding hall. Soon afterward, the Taiji Fish drags him and Zhao Meng into the sea and into the Bronze Ship's microscopic sea world. 5 6

During his early Spring Realm period, Li Weiyi discovers and subdues the seven Phoenix Wing Moth Emperors after they hatch near a Spring Eye. His engagement banquet with Zuoqiu Hongting ends in an assassination attempt that shatters his Ancestral Field.
