After showing off a little and pulling off a move powerful enough to redraw the map, Satoru Gojo was still dissatisfied.
He flicked his hand and shook his head.
"This is even worse than I expected."
At first, everyone thought his old habit of humblebragging had flared up again. But before long, they understood where the "worse" part came from.
The map that Hollow: Purple had sliced apart restored itself at an astonishing speed, like a wound healing under Reverse Cursed Technique.
And along with the "wound," the "body's" immune functions recovered as well.
If the shadows Gojo had cleared out before were ordinary cells, then what came this time were the body's guards—white blood cells. Both in scale and oppressive presence, they far surpassed the shadows from before.
They charged in with such ferocity that they seemed to be shouting, "Die, you filthy germs!"
If that were all, it would have been fine. With Gojo there, they could simply fire off Hollow: Purple repeatedly and force their way through the map.
The problem was that through the "wound" Gojo had "cut open," Akesato saw an extraordinary sight.
It was a mirror-like, inverted world. The mountains inside were upside down, the water flowed backward, and scattered floating islands could vaguely be seen.
The world within the mirror was filled with a far denser aura of death than the space they occupied, like the depths of hell.
Ruined World? Distortion World?
It was not that Akesato was overthinking it. That world simply felt far too familiar.
The Ruined World and the Distortion World were concepts from the Pokémon world setting, referring to the same place.
Some said it was an Antimatter Space. Some said it was the underworld. Others said it was The Backside of the World.
No matter how it
