President Ellis finally breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Chen Mo and Tony Stark step out of the two unfamiliar massive suits of armor.
"Commander, you're back! How did it go? Did everything go smoothly?"
President Ellis asked eagerly.
Over the past hour or so, he had been extremely uneasy. Although he had complete confidence in the Commander's strength, their opponent was clearly no simple foe and had already posed a serious threat to his safety.
Since they had deliberately cut off communications, they had been completely disconnected from the outside world. They knew nothing about the progress or situation of Chen Mo's operation, so they could not help feeling uncertain.
Chen Mo looked at the anxious President Ellis, nodded gently, and said slowly.
"Mr. President, the matter has been resolved smoothly. Mandarin has been captured, and Killian, the true mastermind behind it all, has been eliminated. I believe a full report will be submitted shortly. For now, you can restore communications on Air Force One."
Upon hearing that the operation had succeeded, President Ellis was overjoyed. Since it was over, there was naturally no need to keep acting. President Ellis immediately ordered communications restored.
The ground command center detected the restored signal immediately and quickly reestablished contact with Air Force One. Before long, they learned the full story.
Not long afterward, Phil Coulson finished swiftly clearing the scene and relocating the yacht, then handed Mandarin over to the United States government and informed them about AIM and Aldrich Killian, the true mastermind.
