Sif watched Thor prepare to leave and could not help speaking up.
"Won't you have a drink with me?"
Thor replied apologetically.
"No, I still need to find Heimdall."
At that, Sif suddenly thought of something else. She looked at Thor with resentment and said slowly,
"I know you disappear every night, but we have the Nine Realms. The future king of Asgard cannot keep his eyes fixed on just one of them!"
Thor knew that Sif had learned about how he went to Heimdall every night to check on Jane Foster.
Looking at Sif, Thor did not know whether he should tell her that Jane Foster was in Asgard and was currently in his chambers. After hesitating for a moment, he chose to keep it from her for now and said,
"Thank you for your valor in battle and your honesty, Lady Sif!"
After saying that, Thor turned and left. Sif watched his departing figure, standing where she was with disappointment written all over her face.
