After obtaining the blood of the Fire Dragon and Thor, the previously stalled God Creation Plan could finally continue!
Just as Maya Hansen and Dr. Abraham Erskine were preparing to begin work, they were interrupted by Tony Stark, who came charging in wearing his Iron Man suit.
Noticing the deep bite marks all over Tony Stark's severely deformed armor, Maya Hansen could not help gloating.
"Our Mr. Iron Man actually made it back alive. I thought that dragon had eaten you!"
Tony Stark had raced all the way back, yet he had not seen any sign of the Fire Dragon. Even after arriving at the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, he had not found the enormous Fire Dragon anywhere nearby.
Even if it was to prevent the S.H.I.E.L.D. base from being exposed, Chen Mo only needed to park it farther away. There were so many abandoned factories in the area, and the S.H.I.E.L.D. base was so well hidden that even if the Fire Dragon appeared nearby, there was little chance of exposure unless someone actually rode it straight into the base!
Tony Stark had also considered that Chen Mo might have activated the cloaking device, but it could only provide visual invisibility. The temperature of the roaring flames covering the Fire Dragon's body could not be concealed at all!
Yet Tony Stark used thermal detection and every other method available through his Iron Man suit to scan the surrounding area, but he still failed to find any trace of the Fire Dragon!
Tony Stark could not help wondering whether Chen Mo had gone in the wrong direction!
After all, the Fire Dragon was not an Iron Man suit and had no navigation system. Traveling such a vast distance from Wakanda to New York, getting lost was perfectly normal!
