Tony Stark looked utterly heartbroken, leaving Dr. Abraham Erskine and Maya Hansen exchanging glances. Was he sure he was talking about himself and not the Commander?
This guy thought far too highly of himself!
Chen Mo had long since grown accustomed to Tony Stark's shamelessness. Besides, he could tell that more than half of Tony Stark's anger was an act!
Chen Mo shot Tony Stark a disdainful glance, then took out a matchbox-sized device from his storage space and tossed it to him.
Tony Stark's eyes lit up. He hurriedly caught it, though he still spoke with a trace of anger in his voice.
"What's this? You should know that ordinary things can't heal my wounded heart!"
By then, Dr. Abraham Erskine and Maya Hansen understood. Tony was plainly trying to shake him down!
Maya Hansen looked at Tony Stark with contempt, deeply ashamed that she had once hooked up with such a shameless man!

Dr. Abraham Erskine, on the other hand, watched Tony and Chen Mo with a smile, as though he had seen Howard shamelessly pestering Chen Mo all those years ago. Father and son indeed—the expressions they wore when trying to swindle someone were so alike!
