Although all the Kaiju had already made landfall and no further reinforcements would arrive, while some Jaegers were still on their way for the human side, they would need time to get here. By then, the Jaegers already here would likely have suffered severe losses.
Fortunately, Chen Mo had not spent too long dealing with the Super Kaiju. Seeing one Jaeger in danger, Chen Mo immediately rushed forward. The Flame Greatsword in his hand swept down, severing the Kaiju's head in a single stroke.
The Jaeger pilots had already been greatly encouraged when they saw Chen Mo take down the powerful Super Kaiju, and they fought back with renewed vigor. Now, with Chen Mo, this top-tier force, joining the battle, the situation was swiftly turned around.
Wherever the Giant Jaeger went, whether Category 4 or Category 5 Kaiju, they were all cut down by the Flame Greatsword in a single strike. Dancing red sword light and splashing blue blood constantly intertwined in the air as one enormous Kaiju body after another fell.
By the time the next wave of supporting Jaegers arrived, the eastern and southern slopes of Mount Fuji were already covered with enormous Kaiju corpses. Vast stretches of the mountainside had been dyed blue by Kaiju blood!
As the last Kaiju was jointly destroyed by several Jaegers, a tremendous cheer erupted from the command centers of every base!
Excited voices from the Jaeger pilots rang out over the comm channel.
"We won!"
"That was incredible!"
"We finally did it!"
The Jaeger pilots still on their way listened to the cheers over the comm channel. Though excited and happy, they could not help feeling conflicted.
They regretted missing this pinnacle battle, one worthy of being recorded in human history, but no matter what, humanity had won!
The moment
