Kylas gave him no time to hesitate. Seeing that Star-Lord did not react, he immediately aimed the thick barrel at Star-Lord's head and barked sternly.
"Put it down. Now!"
Looking at the thick barrel aimed at him, Star-Lord had no choice but to yield for the moment. He reached out and tossed the Orb onto the ground, while trying his best to placate the other man.
"Hey, calm down, man. No problem! No problem at all!"
Star-Lord could clearly sense that these three guys were completely different from Chen Mo. If he did not comply, they might shoot him dead at any moment.
As he threw down the Orb, Star-Lord could not help turning to look at Chen Mo. With the strength Chen Mo had displayed earlier, dealing with them should not have been difficult.
But to his disappointment, Chen Mo showed no reaction. He simply stood there quietly, watching the show.
Seeing that Chen Mo was not moving, the two Necro-Soldiers merely kept their guns trained on him and stood to one side on guard.
The Necro-Soldier standing beside Star-Lord, however, kept jabbing him with the muzzle whenever he tried anything suspicious.
Kylas glanced at Chen Mo. Feeling that the situation was entirely under their control, he ignored him, bent down to pick up the Orb that had rolled over, and looked at Star-Lord as he asked in a deep voice.
"How did you know about this?"
They had only just uncovered the information that the Orb was hidden on Morag, yet this guy had found it before them. This naturally made him suspicious of Star-Lord's background.
Of course, Star-Lord would not tell the truth. He immediately tried to brush him off.
"I don't even know what it is. I'm just a scavenger, poking around for junk!"
