After this happened a few more times, Yondu simply gave him a small spacecraft—the Milano—so he could do whatever he wanted aboard it without dragging their entire Coloniser crew into searching everywhere for him like parents looking for an internet-addicted teenager.
Apparently, Star-Lord had run into another "beautiful confidante" this time and did not want a third wheel around to interfere with his flirting, so he had told the other man to return to the ship on his own.
Once Yondu learned that Chen Mo had not abandoned Star-Lord, the expression on his face eased considerably. He was about to call back the Yaka Arrow when he suddenly realized something was wrong.

As soon as he finished speaking, Yondu whistled again, intending to force Chen Mo to tell the truth obediently with the Yaka Arrow, just as he had dealt with The Broker.
The golden Yaka Arrow, trailing a streak of red light, shot toward Chen Mo at high speed. However, Chen Mo clearly did not like having an arrow pointed at him.
With a thought, an Adamantium Throwing Knife appeared instantly. Faster than the Yaka Arrow, it streaked through the air in a flash of silver and shot toward the incoming arrow!

A crisp metallic ring sounded between them. Yondu had no time to react before the rapidly flying Yaka Arrow was knocked away. It spun past Kraglin, who stood nearby, causing his eyes to widen.
This was the first time he had ever seen Yondu's Yaka Arrow fail. Before this, Yondu's arrow had been invincible in his mind. No one had ever been able to block its attacks, much less directly knock aside the Yaka Arrow while it was flying at high speed.
