Chitauri Mothership!

After their attempt to destroy the wormhole failed, they were soon met with the invasion of the Chitauri army. Everyone threw themselves wholeheartedly into the battle.

As for Dr. Erik Selvig, who was still unconscious on the ground beside the Cosmic Cube, everyone had temporarily forgotten about him.

Before completely destroying the entire Chitauri Legion, Chen Mo had no intention of letting the wormhole close prematurely. So, he quietly used a little trick. At least until he returned, Dr. Erik Selvig lying on the ground would not be waking up.

After making the arrangements here, Chen Mo looked up at the enormous blue wormhole overhead. He then increased the thrusters' output and flew upward along the thick beam of energy emitted by the Cosmic Cube, heading straight for the wormhole!

This time, Chen Mo ignored the numerous Chitauri aircraft around him. He shot through them at incredible speed and ultimately plunged headfirst into the wormhole!

On the Sky Carrier, Nick Fury, Hill, and the others watched the black figure fly resolutely and alone into the wormhole, their hearts filled with reverence and worry.

Chen Mo might once have been Earth's strongest warrior, achieving astonishing, undefeated feats during World War II, but things were no longer as they had been. The even more powerful Hulk and Thor had appeared one after another. He was no longer invincible, and now they faced an alien legion countless times stronger than the HYDRA Legion!
