But under the tremendous lure of weapons and ammunition, Luther West and Angel Ortiz were both highly motivated. Their hammers swung, and before long, they smashed a hole the size of a watermelon into the wall!
The two immediately stopped. Angel Ortiz set down his hammer, pulled a flashlight from his person, switched it on, and shone it through the hole in the wall!
Luther West, Christo, and the others eagerly crowded over as well, craning their necks behind Angel Ortiz to peer inside.
The space behind the wall had originally been pitch-black, but once the flashlight beam shone in, the scene within was revealed!
The first thing that caught everyone's eye was a row of shelves. Under the flashlight's beam, the neatly arranged rifles on the shelves made everyone's eyes widen, and Christo cried out excitedly without even realizing it.
"So many guns!"
As Angel Ortiz slowly moved the flashlight in his hand, more shelves and weapons gradually came into view. Everyone present wore excited, exhilarated expressions. Chris's information had been right this time! There really were a lot of weapons!
Standing behind the group, Chris quietly let out a sigh of relief. Though he had been quite certain, the earlier armored vehicle incident had still left him uneasy, afraid that something might have happened while he was unconscious and all the weapons in the armory had been taken away.
Only after seeing with his own eyes that the numerous weapons inside were still safely there did Chris finally set his worries aside.
