Four tentacles lined with sharp teeth rapidly shot out of the zombie's open mouth. In the next instant, they clamped around Wendell's head and bit down hard!

Alice had just taken care of the zombie in front of her. Hearing Wendell's cry, she was about to turn around when she saw another zombie charging at her from nearby.
Alice immediately swung her gun around and fired two shots at the charging zombie. Although it was running and neither shot hit its head, the impact of the large-caliber rounds greatly slowed it down. Alice pulled the trigger again, and this time she hit the zombie squarely in the head, killing it with a single shot!
