Chen Qing was the quiet son of a fisherman from Yazi Bay. His family of four, including a sister, lived aboard several dilapidated sampans joined together, and he frequently went without an afternoon meal. Lin Mo, another youth from a fishing family, shared food with him on multiple occasions during their apprenticeship. 7

His exceptional aptitude emerged quickly: Chen Qing sensed Blood Essence after only ten days and was taken directly as a Personal Disciple by Martial Master Wang.
