Uchiha Itachi suddenly arrived on the Tree Herder Planet, then left seemingly empty-handed.

No one on the entire Tree Herder Planet noticed that he had taken away even the tiniest amount of Source Energy.

None of the ancient Tree Herders had any contact with him, so naturally, none of them noticed.

Katsuyu, who had received Uchiha Itachi, sensed that something was odd.

But she was easygoing, and soon put it out of her mind, immersing herself in the growth brought by fusing Taotie with the four powers.

The Natural Energy of the Shinobi World, the Chakra of the Otsutsuki, the Source Energy of the Tree Herders, and mana from another world were all instinctively blended together by Katsuyu.

In truth, mana had arrived a little too early for Katsuyu.

After absorbing the Source Energy, she had not yet fully completed the harmonization. The growth brought by mixing the three powers was still steadily continuing.

Just as Katsuyu leisurely enjoyed her growth, Aburame Tetsumaru suddenly brought back mana seeds.

This was an entirely new kind of energy, carrying rule-related information from another universe. It was a simpler, purer, more direct expression of power.

For Katsuyu, the temptation of mana was simply too great.

When Aburame Tetsumaru asked whether she wanted some mana seeds, she could not resist and blurted out, "I want them!!"

It could not be helped. Katsuyu sensed an immense opportunity within the mana seeds, the key to allowing her to leap into an entirely new rank of life.

The significance of mixing in mana was enormous, at least comparable to when she had first absorbed Natural Energy.

If she had not obtained mana, then to grow into the next stage, she would need to acquire at least ten new energies, new powers like Chakra and Source Energy.
