Warhammer looked rather bedraggled now.

The Eukaryotic Civilization's counterattack carried an enormous amount of energy, though it was nothing to a star. However, they had embedded strange fluctuations within the gamma radiation. The strike triggered a sunspot surge across the star, producing electromagnetic radiation tens of millions of times stronger than normal.

Under electromagnetic radiation of that magnitude, even a Faraday cage would have vaporized instantly. Warhammer's prior defenses had been completely inadequate.

The electromagnetic radiation forced him out of his stellar fusion state. Although Warhammer completed his readjustment two seconds later and merged back into the star, his losses were staggering.

Within the Photosphere, where temperatures reached six thousand degrees, Warhammer could only release heat by vaporizing memory matter to avoid fatal damage. He lost six hundred tons of body mass as a result, weakening his control over the Stellar Cannon and drastically slowing its recharging speed.

The star under Eighth Master's control also developed a huge number of sunspots after being struck, but he was in better condition.

Eighth Master controlled his star in a unique manner. Through his research on Tailed Beasts, he had developed his own Chakra Insects. Their combat power was roughly equivalent to that of Genin, but their adaptability vastly surpassed the Nine-Tails. These Chakra Insects could adapt to the Sun's environment and even move about briefly within the Radiation Zone.

Through the Chakra Insects, Eighth Master could easily control the star and even construct material structures within it, rather than relying on electromagnetic or energy structures like the others.

Since Chakra Insects could penetrate deep into the Radiation Zone, they naturally had no reason to fear sunspot eruptions. After all, the electromagnetic radiation in a stellar Radiation Zone was stronger than that of sunspots.
