When the Planet Fortress came into contact with the surface of the Otsutsuki Homeworld, a blinding flash erupted at the point of impact. Then its six-thousand-kilometer-wide body slowly deformed and shattered like a crisp mille-feuille pastry.

The electromagnetic force field, Zenith Civilization's most powerful defense, burst like a bubble at that moment. A spherical electric arc visible to the naked eye exploded outward, sweeping across tens of thousands of kilometers of the Otsutsuki Homeworld's surface.

But that was merely a drizzle.

As the Planet Fortress was compressed, the hardness of the construction materials prepared for war began to show itself.

After the Planet Fortress as a whole collapsed inward, it did not break apart. Instead, it was forced into the Otsutsuki Homeworld as a single mass.

And because of the Otsutsuki Homeworld's rotation, the breach made by the Planet Fortress was not circular, but a long scar.

Most matter reached escape velocity after traveling tens of thousands of kilometers, remaining in high orbit as it revolved. During the subsequent collisions, it lost more speed and gradually fell back.

A small portion, however, was fast enough to escape the planet's restraints entirely and scatter into space.
