Arc 9War on Two Fronts

Aburame Tetsumaru helped defeat the Erduo fleet, then intervened in the Land of Grass conflict and helped Konoha break Iwagakure’s forces. After peace with Iwagakure, the story left Orochimaru troubled by Tetsumaru’s explanation of Hiruzen’s succession plans as Konoha prepared to face Kumogakure.

  • Aburame Tetsumaru’s Insect Swarm and the Radiance of the Sun shattered the Erduo fleet, and the Erduo People surrendered to the Otsutsuki Clan’s forces.

The attack ended with Minato and Kushina surviving, while Tetsumaru left for Purple Thunder Star and Jiraiya began searching for the Children of Prophecy and the shadow that had changed fate.

Aburame Tetsumaru restored Nagato, gathered intelligence about Isshiki, and led the Advents in an assault that killed him. As the Five Great Ninja Villages met for the Joint Chunin Exams, Uchiha Itachi won several matches while Tetsumaru continued preparing for threats beyond the tournament.

  • Aburame Tetsumaru persuaded Nagato and Konan to leave Amegakure for treatment, while Nagato refused to give up the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
