Bessonova was a nurse at the Medical Center. With her there, the players found it much easier to move around the hospital. Bessonova had even helped them obtain lists of the patients in each ward.
But another problem soon presented itself.
—How were they supposed to make contact with their targets?
The wards in the Medical Center were now essentially full. Every room was crammed with patients, and the corridors were packed with people as well.
For a city of only fifty thousand people like Pripyat, the hospital itself had never been equipped with many wards.
The major accident at Chernobyl had sent hundreds of patients flooding into the hospital all at once, immediately straining its medical resources. The hospital had already organized staff to transfer ordinary patients to Pripyat's two clinics. Even so, the situation remained far from optimistic. And this was only the beginning. Radioactive dust had already drifted over the town, and more people suffering physical discomfort would continue coming in for treatment.
Militia had also set up a cordon outside the hospital, stopping the relatives of the firefighters and nuclear power plant workers who had rushed over after hearing the news. Of the players, only Zhang Heng and Coconut had entered with Bessonova.
But getting Dyaltov out of that crowd would not be easy.
Of course, considering that the militia had few weapons and the hospital had little armed security, the players could abduct someone if they truly wanted to. But there was no way to keep the commotion small. Besides, Dyaltov was only the first name on the list. After him came Shift Foreman Alexander Akimov and senior reactor control engineer Leonid Topunov.
At this stage, the better option was to take all three away together. However, Akimov and Topunov were in much
