Zhang Heng found a parking lot, parked the Polo there, turned off the engine, got out, opened the trunk, and took out the props and equipment they would need that night.

"You forgot your weapon." Shen Xixi got out as well, stretched lazily, and tossed him the lightsaber that matched her cosplay outfit.

She seemed to be in a pretty good mood tonight. Even she could not quite explain why. She simply felt relaxed whenever she was with Zhang Heng, and she could slack off a little too. Once The Consortium had been established, there had been even more things for her to think about and handle. At first, she had only created The Consortium because she wanted to unite the players' strength and protect ordinary people from supernatural threats.

But once The Consortium had truly been established, things had grown complicated. Conflicts among the various internal groups and friction with the major guilds outside kept snowballing. As a result, she spent most of her energy every day dealing with matters that had nothing to do with her original intention.

Thus, when The Consortium really disbanded, she had not been as upset as others imagined. Instead, she had felt relieved, as though a burden had been lifted, and she could go back to doing what she wanted
