Ye Chen followed a mysterious pull into the Death Forest, where he found an Immortal Peach Tree and confronted a youth who looked exactly like him. The Blood Moon Demonic Eye drew Ye Chen into a strange inner world with Ice Empress, leaving his physical body vulnerable and the true nature of his double unresolved.

• Ye Chen joined Yin Fan's research project and traveled with Xu Tianchen, Liu Yaxuan, and Yue toward the Starry Night Mountain Range.
• Xu Tianchen revealed that he governed Sky Wind City and had survived assassination attempts, while Ye Chen sensed an unexplained force drawing him toward their destination.
• Ye Chen led the group past the authorities' detection Soul Tools and found Death Forest filled with withered trees and corpses.
• Ye Chen entered the forest unharmed by its sacred aura, while Xu Tianchen and Liu Yaxuan had to retreat as it drained their life force.
• Ye Chen followed Yue to the forest's center and found an Immortal Peach Tree bearing a single peach, which he believed had consumed the surrounding life energy.

Ye Chen emerged from the crimson world with the newly hatched Ye Xue and refused to give Yue the Immortal Peach Tree. In Mingdu, he helped secure Huo Yuhao’s release and began advising Xu Tianchen as Xu Tianran seized power.

• Ye Chen returned from the crimson world, named the newly hatched Snow Empress Ye Xue, and refused to let Yue take the Immortal Peach Tree.
• Ye Chen visited Xu Tianchen in Sky Wind City, then brought Ye Xue into his Small World to meet the Ice Empress.

After Jing Hongchen nearly exposes them, an unknown helper intervenes, and Ye Chen escapes with stolen records and Divine Edge while keeping the Shrek students safe.

• Ye Chen and the Shrek students entered Ming De Hall’s underground laboratories, where he surveyed the fortress and hid his real Soul Tool skills from Jing Hongchen.
• When the Body Sect attacked, Ye Chen fled with Yue through a hidden passage after she destroyed a Rank 9 door.
• Ye Chen and Yue found Ming De Hall’s secret archives, and Ye Chen stored the Soul Tool designs and research records in his Small World.
• They discovered Experiment Subject Two, a creature linked to the Abyss, and Ye Chen learned it had been found near the Extreme North as part of the emperor’s Eternal Life Plan.
