The sun was setting, and it had to be said, Elysium was truly like a real world, even imitating beautiful scenery like sunsets with uncanny accuracy.
It must require a vast amount of energy. Fortunately, there were other means, otherwise, just the electricity bill alone would be enough to bankrupt the World Serpent countless times over, forcing it to work odd jobs just to pay for power.
Kevin probably wouldn't even be able to afford instant noodles. The two walked side by side, one with hair as red as fire, the other with a vibrant pink. They were a perfect match, truly a golden couple, appearing to be quite suited for each other.
"We just need to notify Griseo and Aponia!"
Elysia, with Zhang Wei, headed towards The Deepest. Although some of the Flame-Chasers grumbled about the trouble, they still agreed to join the dinner. They were likely looking forward to such an occasion.
"Aponia, what a coincidence! I was just planning to find you at The Deepest!"
In Griseo's art studio, they found both the adult and child Griseo, as well as Aponia, the epitome of Elysium's heart. The adult Griseo and Aponia were chatting, having tens of thousands of years of longing, so naturally, they had a lot to say.
"Little Elysia, have you seen Cosmo?" the child Griseo asked, approaching Elysia with a cute expression.
She hadn't seen Cosmo in a long time and was starting to feel unaccustomed to it.
"Cosmo? I just saw her at Vill-V's place. It seems she's asking Vill-V to make something really cool!"
Elysia said. It wasn't just Griseo who felt a bit unaccustomed; in her memory, Cosmo was never far from Griseo, acting like a full-time nanny. If she didn't know the reason, she might have thought Cosmo was a pedophile.
"Oh, so Elysia, do you need something?" Griseo didn't ask further. Cosmo did indeed like cool things and would sometimes say strange lines.
"Nothing much, just going to Hyperion for dinner. You guys are the last ones we needed to notify!"
"Elysia, is it really okay for us Flame-Chasers to gather like this?"
Aponia couldn't help but say. Although the Flame-Chasers belonged to Fire Moth, they weren't always harmonious. For example, whenever Chrono saw her, he'd immediately turn into an Elysium telegraph operator, requiring censorship to be bearable.
"It's fine, it's rare for us to gather for dinner like this, it hasn't even happened in Elysium before!" Elysia waved her hand dismissively.
"Alright then."
Aponia nodded. At worst, she could use Discipline to quiet Chrono down. Although this would make Chrono even angrier, it was better than him sending out telegraphs.
"Griseo, let me hug you!"
Elysia opened her arms to the adult Griseo. But before the adult Griseo could embrace her, the child Griseo lightly jumped and hung onto Elysia's neck like a little charm.
"Little Elysia, is this okay?"
Griseo said crisply. Zhang Wei and the other two couldn't help but laugh. Elysia was left feeling awkward. She had wanted to hug the adult Griseo, but the child Griseo had gotten there first. It was truly a miscalculation.
"It's fine."
At this point, the Pink Fairy couldn't tell the child Griseo that she had hugged the wrong person; it would be too heartbreaking. Besides, she was small and quite lovely.
"We've notified the last few people. Let's head back, Mei must be getting anxious waiting!" Zhang Wei said, shaking his head with a smile. He kind of wanted to hug the little Griseo, thinking she might have a milky scent.
At Hyperion, the Flame-Chasers had gathered again. Chrono, uncharacteristically, did not erupt in anger and sat quietly on the sofa. His expression couldn't be seen due to the mask.
However, Zhang Wei was curious if Chrono would take off his mask during dinner and reveal his true face.
"Su, you're keeping your eyes closed, so how are you seeing the path? Or are you peeking through a slit?" Zhang Wei placed his Captain's hat aside, his fiery red hair gleaming.
Su, with his long flowing hair, would probably catch Kevin's eye if he cross-dressed. His foundation was quite good, so he should just stop being a riddle-maker and debut as a female idol!
"Cough cough..." Su couldn't help but cough, saying helplessly, "After becoming a Fusion Warrior, I can perceive my surroundings without using my eyes, so I won't fall!"
"Is that so?"
Zhang Wei looked at Kevin, knowing that no one understood Su better than he did.
"Back in school, Su always seemed to keep his eyes closed. He hadn't become a Fusion Warrior back then, so he was probably peeking at the path," Kevin recalled earnestly and stated frankly.
As expected of the ancestor of the "derpy goose," the derpiness was likely inherited from Kevin.
Zhang Wei burst out laughing. Kevin was truly someone who said whatever came to mind.
Su's lips twitched. What kind of bad friends had he made? They could talk about anything.
"Eden, where's Mobius? Isn't she coming?" Elysia looked around but couldn't find the familiar green figure. Had she gotten angry about the previous outfit change?
That shouldn't be the case; the fairies found it very cute, so Mobius should have liked it.
"Uh... Mobius is probably flying right now!" Eden's expression was slightly awkward as she subtly glanced at Chrono.
Elysia noticed, looked at Chrono, then at Zhang Wei, and seemed to connect the dots.
"Don't look at me, I was with you the whole time. I'm not responsible for this!" Zhang Wei quickly shook his head. However, he could guess who was responsible.
"Kiana, where did you send Mobius?!"
Kiana, with a large chicken leg in her mouth, poked her head out from the kitchen, clearly caught sneaking food.
"You mean that little kid? She wanted to research me, so I taught her a lesson by letting her experience freefall."
Kiana snorted. She hated human experimentation the most, so she didn't show Mobius any kindness. She directly used her spatial power to let Mobius experience freefall, similar to what Zhang Wei had done.
As the Herrscher of Finality, mere power was enough. Her combat style was all about overwhelming force, so her understanding of her own abilities was relatively superficial.
"Uh... it's time to eat. Let her come out!"
"Alright!"
"Splat!"
Kiana opened an Imaginary Gate, and a green, slimy figure fell to the ground, followed by a Quantum Shadow that landed on Mobius.
Crack!
Kevin silently used his ice power to freeze the Quantum Shadow. 'Isn't this a creature from the Sea of Quantum? What exactly has Mobius gone through?'
"Aaaah, damn white hair, where did you teleport me to!"
Mobius let out a sharp, groundhog-like shriek, causing everyone to instinctively cover their ears. Her high-pitched scream was about to blow the Hyperion's ceiling off.
