Background and History

Seven Kill Demon Venerable

Lin Yu first appeared near the Dao Shi Realm as the feared Seven Kill Demon Venerable. His killing intent covered a billion light-years, driving living beings outside a city into mutual slaughter and generating vast blood energy. He coerced the City Lord into surrendering a Primordial Spirit Treasure after learning of it through the City Lord's rival. 666

Han Yuan located Lin Yu through the dice, which pointed toward a Peak Spirit Treasure sword once belonging to Han Yuan. Han reclaimed the sword and demonstrated overwhelming treasure-refining ability, merging numerous Chaos Rare Treasures into a Chaos Supreme Treasure. Rather than kill Lin Yu, Han Yuan offered him a chance to cultivate under him for one Epoch. 666

Han Yuan's Disciple

Within Han Yuan's Portable Cave Mansion, Lin Yu cultivated Han Yuan's Dao law at an extraordinary rate. He succeeded within one Epoch, broke through to Dao Ancestor, and condensed a minor chaos. Han Yuan formally accepted him as a disciple and revealed himself as the Great Beginning Origin Ancestor. 668

Lin Yu chose to walk the Path of Slaughter rather than accept Han Yuan's Path to Ascension. Wandering the Primordial

After leaving the Primordial, Lin Yu met Jinbao, Han Yuan's divine pet, and learned that Han had another disciple, Mo Wuhui. He gave Jinbao a Chaos Supreme Treasure in exchange for a Spirit Fruit, then departed to seek the Primordial Great Chaos battlefield. 670
