Background / History

Raven is a World Serpent cadre and mercenary whose primary ambition is to earn enough money for a private villa island. Jackal routinely exploits this motivation, threatening salary deductions to force Raven into dangerous assignments. During an anomalous Honkai Energy incident at Taixu Mountain, Raven investigated the site, identified Xing as a natural Stigmata carrier, and abducted him before Schicksal could take custody of him. She used the name Natasha Siola, posing as an orphanage director to gain his trust. 3

While transporting Xing, Raven injected him with a Honkai Energy inhibitor to suppress his Stigmata and planted a tracker on him. Although she initially viewed him as valuable “merchandise” for Jackal, she became conflicted about his fate and privately kept photographs of him as souvenirs. 4

Jackal next assigned Raven to retrieve Raiden Mei and her implanted Herrscher Core. Raven pursued Mei in Changkong City, but Xing’s involvement drew her into a battle with Bronya. When Xing later collapsed under Honkai erosion, Raven attempted to stabilize him with additional inhibitors, then chose to leave him with Kiana when the Hyperion arrived rather than take him back to World Serpent. 5 6 7

Raven continued trying to capture Xing during the events at Yae Village. She overwhelmingly outclassed Xing and Kiana in direct combat, saw through Xing’s attempt to lead her toward a sealed Pseudo-Herrscher, and pursued her own target instead. However, when a Crimson Prison Beast attacked Xing, Raven immediately rescued him and blamed herself when his Stigmata began to fade. 13 14 15

She later recaptured Xing and delivered him to Jackal at ME Company, where Jackal intended to use him as a vessel for the Gem of Stillness and enhance him with Vishnu genes. Raven openly doubted Jackal’s methods, warned Xing that Jackal’s equipment was unreliable, and avoided confronting him after his hyper-evolution surgery gave him power beyond what Raven considered safe to engage directly. 23 24 25 26

World Serpent eventually placed Raven undercover at St. Freya Academy with a forged identity as an A-Rank Valkyrie teacher. Her assigned objective was to extract Herrscher candidates from the academy, but she instead developed a more familiar relationship with Xing, becoming his archery instructor and repeatedly treating him with a mixture of irritation, teasing, and protectiveness. 81 84 85

Raven finally acquired her long-sought villa island, only for it to sink after Tesla accidentally destroyed the island during a lab self-destruct sequence. The loss reduced Raven to drunken tears; although Xing offered to help her buy another island, Raven insisted on investigating the bombing through World Serpent rather than simply relying on his money. 93 94

During later conflicts with Jackal, Raven fought in Night Rouge armor and remained an active World Serpent operative. She secretly concealed Chen Xilumeng/Luming’s identity from Jackal, explaining that Gray Serpent had ordered her to remain near Jackal and prevent their conflict from escalating. 165 171 276
