Personality

Dai Mubai is proud, competitive, and quick to answer provocation. He treats threats to Shrek’s members as personal challenges, openly confronting Canghui Academy’s students and refusing to let Xiao Wu fight in the boys’ place. 19

His initial defeat to Fu Hua heavily wounds his pride, particularly because she defeated him without using Soul Power. Though reluctant to accept the gap between them, he gradually learns not to underestimate opponents or relax before a battle is truly over. 12 13 31

He is also protective and responsible as the team’s eldest member and captain. During the Aposh incident, he first carries Oscar and Ning Rongrong away, then chooses to return to aid Zhao Wuji despite believing it may cost his life. 23 During Master’s endurance training, he pushes the exhausted group onward and offers to carry Ma Hongjun’s weights. 33
