A metal ball was attached to the end of the note. After reading it, Xue Beng had no idea what it meant, but he was furious. Who the hell was Xiao Wu? In his anger, he pulled the note out of the ball. Then he heard a strange sizzling sound.

The ball in his hand suddenly let out a huge bang and exploded. In an instant, countless fragments shot outward with the blast. The many young nobles who had just gathered around were all severely injured. Xue Beng, naturally, suffered the worst, being closest to it. More than half of one hand was blown away. Fortunately, he had not leaned in to inspect it, or he might have lost his life on the spot.

The entire scene immediately descended into chaos. Guards rushed in to inspect the situation, and upon seeing the horrific sight, they promptly began rescue efforts while reporting to their superiors. Soon afterward, the entire High-Class Restaurant was placed under lockdown.

After two princes of the Heaven Dou Empire had died in succession, the remaining Crown Prince Xue Qinghe and Fourth Prince Xue Beng both had many guards secretly protecting them. Thus, it did not take long for Xue Beng and the accidentally injured young nobles to be taken away. Many guards then began thoroughly searching the High-Class Restaurant.
