Xiao Yun landed on the summit of the main peak, crouched, and pressed his palm to the ground.
Spiritual Power surged from his palm and sank deep into the mountain, where he left an imprint of his Spiritual Sense.
That imprint would become the central anchor of the sect's future Grand Formation.
"Let's go." He stood and dusted off his hands.
Shui Bing'er stood beside him, looking at the majestic peak and then at Xiao Yun. She could hardly believe it. "Teacher Xiao, you're not building the sect here?"
"I am. Just not yet." Xiao Yun summoned his Flying Sword, and the two leaped onto the Sword Body and flew toward Dragon Ascending Town.
Aboard the Flying Sword, Shui Bing'er kept looking back at the seven peaks. She had many questions, but she did not know where to begin.
Xiao Yun saw her confusion. "We've found the place, but building a sect isn't that simple."
Shui Bing'er turned to look at him.
"First, we need a Grand Formation." Xiao Yun raised one finger. "A sect's protective array. Without one, the sect is an open courtyard. Anyone can walk in, and anyone can cause trouble. With one, we can protect the disciples, speed up their cultivation, and keep the sect standing firm."
He raised a second finger. "Next, we need buildings. A mountain gate, a main hall, an ancestral shrine, the Library Pavilion, the Artifact Refining Hall, the Alchemy Hall, the Talisman Hall, the Formation Hall, an herb garden, disciples' residences, elders' residences—not one can be missing. Without them, where will the disciples live? Where will they cultivate, refine pills, or forge artifacts?"
He raised a third finger. "Then there's transport. There are no roads deep in the Dragon Ascending Mountain Range. How do we get building materials—stone, timber, metal—in there?
