Wood Spirit is the sentient spirit of the Ambrosial Arbor. Its inherited memories include the Central World’s God-Demon War, giving it knowledge and perspective far beyond its outwardly childlike appearance 11 235.

Although its complete form is immense, Wood Spirit was only planted as a seed six years earlier and remains in its infant stage. It states that reaching its full size would require another hundred thousand years 132 141.

Wood Spirit forms a Soul Contract with Su Xuan. According to its explanation, such contracts allow heaven-and-earth spiritual beings with slow cultivation to grow more quickly by bonding with an exceptional genius; the contract also makes the pair share glory and loss 192 235.
