Background / History

Harry was raised by his godfather, Sirius Black, rather than by the Dursleys. This gave him a stable home and left him less acquainted with Hagrid than in the original timeline. He knows that Voldemort killed his parents, but has no memory of how he survived Voldemort’s attack as an infant. 168 190 196 200

Before starting Hogwarts, Harry met Lucas Tom Brightson, who introduced himself as Tom. Their first handshake produced an electric sensation, and Murphy later concluded that their magic was unusually similar. Both eventually received nearly identical yew-and-phoenix-feather wands. 184
