Vol. 4Murphy’s World War Preparations

Murphy drove Britain out of the Confederation, built the Wizard Alliance, and pursued new magical and technological weapons as the Holy Mother and other forces threatened the world. After Tyr’s return left the Atlantic contaminated, Murphy turned to magical chips and artificial neural networks to improve his command of magic.

  • Murphy outmaneuvered the Confederation’s investigators and fought Dumbledore and Grindelwald at the Isle of Purbeck while a ritual attack struck Arkaim and the Holy Mother attacked Sophia.
  • Madame Yaga and Sophia dispelled the mist in Arkaim, but the Holy Mother appeared in a mirror and attacked Sophia with a black dagger.
  • Murphy saved Sophia, completed the magic radar, and destroyed the Holy Mother’s pendant with Lucas’s help.
  • Murphy took control of the USS McCain and redirected a missile into Westminster and the Confederation meeting, while Patrick Duncan called for accountability and peaceful national renewal.
  • Murphy formed the Wizard Alliance and rescued Hogwarts students from Voldemort’s ritual, sending the Holy Mother into the Black Ship.
  • Murphy linked his soul to Pioneer, pursued mechanical ascension, and presented Patrick with plans to expand OGAS and replace much of the bureaucracy.
  • Murphy investigated rising magical radiation, built the War Wolf Unit, and expanded the Wizard Alliance as Tyr returned to Earth from the moon.
  • After Tyr vanished and the Atlantic became contaminated, Murphy identified magical chips as a way to channel magic through precision equipment and formed a team to develop them.

Arc 13The Isle of Purbeck Trap

Murphy resisted international pressure and drove Britain’s Ministry of Magic out of the Confederation, while Dumbledore and Grindelwald joined forces against him. Their confrontation at the Isle of Purbeck proved to be a diversion, as Arkaim came under attack and Sophia faced the Holy Mother’s assault.

  • Murphy pursued his magical radar project and expanded Umbrella despite sanctions, while Dumbledore’s accusations prompted an international inquiry into Britain.
  • Maria’s manifestations threatened the Moscow laboratory project, but Murphy persuaded Valery to suppress religious opposition and push ahead with the National Laboratory.
  • The Confederation’s investigators were confined and manipulated, then lured into a failed Goblin rescue that helped Britain vote to leave the Confederation.
  • Michael Hurd’s secret plan to break up Umbrella was exposed, bringing down his investigation and helping Patrick Duncan’s new party return Umbrella to normal operations.
  • Dumbledore freed Grindelwald from Nurmengard, and the two agreed to confront Murphy after learning from the Holy Mother that he would appear at Old Harry Rocks.
  • Murphy enclosed the Isle of Purbeck battlefield with the Wall of Saint Peter and fought Dumbledore and Grindelwald while Maxim suppressed their magic.

Arc 14The Antenna and the Missile

Murphy saved Sophia, completed the magic radar, and destroyed the Holy Mother’s pendant while political and military forces converged against him. A battle between Britain and the United States ended with a missile striking Westminster and the Confederation meeting, while Patrick called for Britain to reclaim its strength without choosing war.

  • Murphy saved Sophia with Miriam’s True Blood, then began investigating high-frequency magic and prepared to transfer Lucas into Athena.
  • Murphy faced condemnation from wizarding leaders as Dumbledore and Grindelwald tried to stop the antenna, while the Order of the Phoenix attacked its construction site.
  • Murphy revealed he came from the future and questioned Dumbledore and Grindelwald about the worldwide Fidelius Charm as Sirius and Lupin fought in the battle.
  • Lucas transferred into Athena, confessed she had killed Sirius, and helped Murphy destroy the Holy Mother’s pendant with a magic ray.
  • Harry learned that Sirius had died and saw him in a coffin, while Murphy’s completed radar found powerful magical locations and extended his mind network.
  • Murphy seized control of the USS McCain through magic, and its missiles sparked a naval clash before he redirected one into Westminster and the Confederation meeting at Oulusburg.
  • American officials blamed a foreign plot, while French Aurors and President François worked to conceal the destruction at Oulusburg.
  • Patrick Duncan condemned the attack and Britain’s loss of sovereignty, called for accountability and compensation, and urged peace and national renewal.

Arc 15The Wizard Alliance

Murphy formed a Wizard Alliance, killed the Holy Mother’s influence at Hogwarts, and rescued the students from Voldemort’s ritual. He then pursued mechanical ascension through Pioneer and began planning a national automation system, while preparing Patrick for a future global conflict.

  • Murphy announced plans for a Wizard Alliance, and Patrick’s party won power in Britain as Murphy urged investment in military technology and higher taxes on major industries.
  • Murphy used the merman prince’s pearl to make a Philosopher’s Stone, then expanded his magical energy supply and satellite network to track the Holy Mother.
  • Murphy, Dumbledore, and Grindelwald entered Hogwarts through the Spirit World Fog, where Murphy discovered that Voldemort had taken control of Harry and was preparing a ritual to revive Slytherin.
  • Murphy freed Lucas and severed the students’ connection to Voldemort’s ritual, while Dumbledore and Grindelwald held back the Black Ship and Murphy sent the Holy Mother into it.
  • Murphy and Snape helped save the surviving students, and Murphy appointed Dumbledore vice president of the Wizard Alliance while sending him and Grindelwald to recruit allies in France.
  • Murphy moved Hogwarts to Umbrella’s vocational school, assessed the threat of the gods, and toured Soviet research institutes before deciding to pursue mechanical ascension.
  • Murphy transferred a fragment of his soul into Pioneer and used Magic Devouring to link himself more deeply with the supercomputer, which the laboratory then expanded and integrated with AI.
  • Murphy presented Patrick with plans to expand OGAS, give the public access to market information, and replace much of the bureaucracy, then hinted that a world war could unite humanity against a terrifying enemy.

Arc 16Tyr’s Return and the Magic Chip

Murphy expanded the Wizard Alliance and built forces to confront rising magical disasters, then discovered that gods remained trapped on the moon when Tyr escaped and attacked Earth. After Tyr’s apparent destruction left the Atlantic contaminated, Murphy turned to magical chips as a way to control precision technology and improve his command of magic.

  • Murphy investigated rising magical disasters, formed the War Wolf Unit, and learned that magical radiation was increasing as more people became aware of magic.
  • Murphy established the Wizard Alliance and expanded its influence by exposing speculators, protecting member wizards, and offering support for legal businesses in Muggle society.
  • Murphy combined a Time-Turner with a Time Accelerator to create a Time Magic Box, while researchers pursued vampire treatments and the Wizard Alliance brought Denmark under British leadership.
  • Murphy watched the Soviet lunar lander encounter awakened statues and chains on the moon before a crimson entity seized the lander and returned to Earth.
  • The entity took control of sea creatures and declared that Tyr had returned, so Murphy and his allies attacked him with satellites, a spatially maneuvering figure, and cylindrical projectiles.
  • Murphy found no trace of Tyr after the battle, but researchers detected expanding contamination in the Atlantic and Murphy suspected Tyr’s flesh might have left a hidden backup.
  • Murphy concluded that magical chips were needed to channel magic through precision equipment, recognized Denzel Evans’s magical silicon carbide as a possible memristor, and formed a team to develop artificial neural network chips.
