On the 22nd day of the twelfth lunar month, I wish everyone an early Happy New Year.

I started writing the book on March 5th, and it's been almost a year now. The 1.4 million words have exceeded my initial expectations, but judging from the timeline in the book, the story is not even halfway through.

I am deeply sorry for posting so much irrelevant content, dear readers. I bow in apology.

To reiterate the old story, due to insufficient preparation of the outline, too many ideas and shallow writing skills, this book has no rhythm whatsoever, and a large amount of trivial and redundant digressions take up the space.

Fortunately, my fellow readers have been supportive, believing that the flaws outweigh the merits and are still enjoyable, and have accompanied me all the way to this point.

I bowed in thanks.

When I first typed the first line, I was going through a difficult and low period. When I started writing this book, I was also trying to escape reality. But as I've written it all this way, I've benefited a lot.

I bowed again to express my gratitude.

I'll probably speed things up a bit later on, to accelerate the plot. I was talking about this a million words ago, but it seems there's still no improvement, haha.

I'm going home for the holidays tomorrow, and I'll definitely work hard to update my blog and live up to your expectations!

Wishing all my book lovers a safe, healthy, joyful, prosperous, and successful new year, and may you all find your perfect match!
