Background / History

Wei Fan transmigrates into the body of a Yun City yamen constable, inheriting his predecessor’s memories and martial arts. Early in his new life, he arrests Yang Jun for attempting to assault Old Master Zhang’s granddaughter; after Yang Jun is released through gang connections, Old Master Zhang is murdered and his granddaughter is abducted, drawing Wei Fan into direct conflict with the city’s criminal forces. 1

His work against demons and corrupt officials brings him into the Demon Suppressing Division. Following the Baiyun Village operation, where he kills the silver fox demon Hu Yulang and Wei Hongying, he is promoted to Red Clothed Demon Suppressor.
