Background and history

The God Realm was originally part of the far larger Dragon Realm, founded by the Dragon God. At its height, the Dragon Realm possessed eighteen God Kings, ruled ten star systems, and treated the Good God, Evil God, and Asura God as subordinates of the Dragon God. 294 332

Following the Dragon God Rebellion, the Good God and Evil God led the human deities against the Dragon Clan and beast gods. They later organized fragments of the fallen Dragon Realm into the current God Realm. 225

The realm appears externally as an immense seven-colored sphere. Within it are shifting clouds, dense Immortal Spirit Qi, and towering golden palaces, including the God Realm Committee at its highest point. Its special environment is formed from the faith power entrusted by the planes under its authority. 236

Divine hierarchy

God Realm Committee

The God Realm Committee judges deities, manages the realm, and maintains its rules. It is centered on the Divine Realm Core and must be overseen by a God King-level expert. 236 298

The Five Great God Kings were composed of two ruling God Kings—the Good God and Evil God—and three Law Enforcement Gods: the Asura God, God of Destruction, and Life Goddess. 225 Chen Xilin later joined them as the Martial God, creating a group of six God Kings. 293

Laws and restrictions

• Deities who ascend to the God Realm may no longer interfere in Douluo Continent’s affairs; this is a rule established by the Five Great God Kings. 236
• Newly ascended gods are required to report to the God Realm, particularly during periods of military need. 319
• Rank 1 Gods may bring up to four family members upon entering the realm. 319
• Private fighting is forbidden; violators face divine punishment from the God Realm Committee. 319

Core systems and defenses

Divine Realm Core

The Divine Realm Core is the God Realm’s lifeline and central control system, located within the God Realm Committee. A ruler using it can remotely govern nearly everything within the realm. 298

• It detects concealed Divine Sparks and other matters visible to God King-level authority. 227
• It gathers and distributes faith power accumulated from the realm’s governed planes. 302 308
• It can restore depleted divine power, though doing so consumes long-stored faith power needed for reconstruction and development. 307 308
• It activates and strengthens realm-wide defenses when supplied with divine power from the gods. 301 302
• Following the Eternal God Domain fusion, all seventeen participating God Kings gained the ability to mobilize the new Core. 344

Divine Realm Shield

The Divine Realm Shield is the realm’s primary external defense.

• It neutralized the first two tendrils of the Space-Time Turbulence, though the impacts caused severe upheaval inside the realm. 303
• When every god channeled divine power through the God Realm Committee, the entire realm became a massive golden sphere capable of resisting further turbulence without shaking. 305
• The shield was later torn apart during the Dragon God’s assault, and one-third of the God Realm was destroyed. 341

Divine punishment arrays

• Sin God Punishment Array — Formed by the Seven Original Sin Gods with the Life Goddess as its core. Her Life’s Prayer keeps the Sin Gods lucid and prevents their original sins from corrupting the formation. 303
• Element God Punishment Array — Formed by the Seven Element Gods with the God of Destruction as its core. 301 303
• Myriad Gods Divine Punishment Array / Ten Thousand Gods Formation — A formation led by the Five Great God Kings that gathers the power of every god in the realm. It can destroy an entire galaxy, but its use drains the Divine Realm Core and leaves the realm dangerously fragile. 303

Three Realms Judgment Sword

The Three Realms Judgment Sword was developed by the Five Great God Kings specifically to counter a threat like the Dragon God. Its complete form uses the Asura Demon Sword as its core and requires the divine power of the Good God, Evil God, Asura God, God of Destruction, and Life Goddess. 337
