First, provide support for the Titan Beast joint operation to fight against the King of Monsters, Shangang!
Hmm? Support the Titan Beast first?
They were momentarily bewildered.
The reinforcements we were promised aren't you guys?
Lying comfortably on the beach, sleeping for the entire morning, Shangang rolled over contentedly, triggering a series of tremors that shook the earth.
The land surrounding her had already been stained with a layer of toxic green poison.
This King of Monsters was a massive, passive toxic weapon; just by standing there, she would contaminate the surrounding land.
And that was only the passive effect.
When Shangang spewed the venom accumulated within her body, everyone would understand what it meant to see nothing but a green meadow before their eyes!
This was no harmless, lush green prairie, but a terrifying hell that brought forth poison and filthy death!
No one knew where Shangang had been hiding during the years she spent fleeing in a severely wounded state.
The ocean was simply too vast.
But from Shangang's comfortable posture now, it was easy to tell that she probably hadn't basked in the sun for the past few years.
It seemed she had endured for far, far too long.
After her wounds healed, she immediately returned to this land she had polluted, marking it as her nest, appearing as though she intended to stay for a long time.
Her plans were certainly well-laid.
But as the saying goes, the idea is plump, but reality is skeletal.
As the waves in the distance began to vibrate unnaturally, there were faint signs of a giant beast approaching from the far-off ocean.
A special sensory mechanism inherent to monsters allowed Shangang to perceive something.
She lifted her head and gazed toward the sea, her twisted, scrunched-up face looking incredibly ugly, yet also appearing immensely ferocious!
Ugly and fierce.
Closer, even closer.
Her mung bean-like eyes finally caught sight of the massive figure walking step by step across the distant ocean.
Behind this colossal figure, another one followed closely, but seeing as it looked like a mere lackey, Shangang ignored it entirely.
Her entire focus was fixed on the hulking figure steadily closing in ahead.
"Roar!"
Shangang stood up, her bloated neck straining forward as she attempted to intimidate Beast King Godzilla.
Godzilla now stood 90 meters tall. After some subsequent Action Duration and a spin on the Grand Roulette, there were still two Evolution Point Little Stars saved in the Golden Finger space, unused.
With Shangang's massive height of 135 meters, it could be said that she completely dwarfed the latter.
Yet, when facing Godzilla, Shangang's posture was grave to the extreme; she did not show a shred of slackness or underestimation.
On some people, the flesh on their bodies looks like muscle, while on others, it is merely fat.
Perhaps the way Shangang looked at Godzilla carried exactly that kind of cautious attitude.
"Pfft!"
With a forceful snort that erupted into two sparks before her, Yamata looked toward Shangang in the distance, feeling extremely displeased.
Since when could he be looked down upon like this?
Yamata could clearly sense that Shangang had placed all her attention on Beast King Godzilla, rather than on him.
This gave Yamata the feeling of being slighted, and he desperately wanted to charge over and give the latter a round of magma baths x8!
However, the boss's aura was ice-cold right now, clearly indicating he was very unhappy.
If he were to bypass the latter and go fight Shangang directly, Yamata was a bit worried about being held accountable afterward.
Just as Yamata was restless and annoyed, he discovered that the King of Monsters in the distance had already taken the initiative.
Seeing the situation turn unfavorable, Shangang opened her abyssal maw wide, and the full reservoir of stored venom and acid was spewed out, descending upon Godzilla like a waterfall of sulfuric acid.
Since the attack had already reached his face, it was naturally impossible for Yamata to just stand there and take it.
Although his eight heads usually performed their own duties, when it came to actual combat, they were of one heart and one mind!
Six heads opened their mouths, spewing out slender streams of Magma Breath to barely contend with Shangang's venom waterfall.
Meanwhile, the boss unleashed a Flame Stream Ray, which, combined with a Magma Breath from his brother beside him, slammed directly into Shangang.
The two breaths, sharing the same origin yet possessing slight differences, merged together, their power increasing instantly to the point where even the visual effects appeared far more dazzling.
After a sizzling, crackling sound of burning, half of Shangang's body had been peeled raw by the magma bath.
The areas hit directly suffered from eighteenth-degree burns, leaving her exterior looking severely mangled.
However, Shangang held her ground, refusing to retreat. Instead, her ferocity was completely ignited!
The volume of the acid waterfall surged instantly!
Godzilla watched from the sidelines for the moment. When he saw Yamata's magma splashing onto the surrounding contaminated land, it immediately scorched the earth, sending up thick plumes of smoke.
Although the ground became scorched and charred, the pollution upon it was truly and effectively cleared away.
Seeing this, he became lost in thought.
Even if the magma's effects left the land uneven after clearing the pollution, when spring arrived in the future, nature would naturally favor this place once again.
Is this the rebirth that follows destruction?
Is this the innate purification ability of a Titan Beast?
Even Yamata, who clearly belonged to an offensive type, possessed a passive ability to protect the environment while wielding such immense destructive power?
Then what about him?
If he, Godzilla, also belonged to the ranks of Titan Beasts... would absorbing and devouring nuclear pollution and various types of nuclear radiation count as protection?
Seeing that Yamata was in immediate danger of being bathed in acid after Shangang's acid breath surged, the Beast King no longer watched in silence.
He flicked his tail, striking the seawater with a thunderous roar.
A glowing blue light began to shine; a powerful, destructive breath was gathering, its potency constantly increasing.
That familiar light was converging, the power beginning to swell, expanding continuously!
Hum—
Hum—
Shangang noticed the anomaly and turned her focus to attack Godzilla, but it was already too late.
The breath, having charged for the longest duration and reached maximum potency, erupted forth. It triggered a sonic boom and struck Shangang's head in an instant.
Shangang had a massive head, and as the breath arrived, she barely managed to tilt it, allowing the Charged Breath to strike only half of her face.
And then, half of her face was blown to pieces.
The Charged Breath lost little of its power, slamming straight into Shangang's body. Along the way, it vaporized an unknown amount of venom and destroyed countless organs.
From afar, one could only see this glowing blue beam of breath blast into Shangang's face, tear through her body, and then burst out from her side after punching a hole straight through her.
The beam then tore all the way into the ocean, kicking up hundred-meter waves and vaporizing countless amounts of seawater!
With a single blast, Shangang was as fragile as a cork pierced through by a steel nail!
"OMG! Oh my God!"
"I really want to take my size 11 smelly foot and slap it hard against my own face to see if I'm dreaming!"
At the Philippines monitoring station, when they saw the King of Monsters' breath blast away half of Shangang's face, everyone was stunned!
Some people couldn't help but slip into a dubbed-movie accent, carrying a distinct flavor of the past.
Someone nearby, who had been in a state of shock, couldn't help but retort upon hearing that tone:
"I swear to God, if you keep talking to me in that dubbed accent, I promise I'll beat your face to a pulp with the toe of my own stinky shoe!"
The group joked around in multiple languages, but beneath the seemingly unserious atmosphere, they couldn't hide their intense excitement!
A savior had descended from the heavens!
This Titan Beast, which they had never seen before, was actually thrashing the King of Monsters?
They had never even heard of it before!
The intelligence coming from the Great East was just too incredible!
Many were so overjoyed they couldn't help but kneel down, praying for the arrival of a glorious and hopeful future.
Shangang was dead, killed instantly by a single headshot!
The impending doom that had hung over all their heads had finally vanished into thin air.
It was foreseeable that when the gloom dispersed, what everyone would see would be the rainbow after the rain...
"Wait! Shangang isn't dead!"
"She's still moving!"
Just then, someone suddenly pointed at the 'corpse' of Shangang on the big screen and shouted, their voice filled with fear and despair!
Everyone turned their eyes in unison.
Sure enough, that mountain-like green-poison monster was actually moving again!
Everyone had assumed that since she had been headshot, she should be dead by now.
Half her head was blown off—how could she still be alive?
This was just human habit at work.
But Shangang really hadn't died!
She wasn't a human; she was a monster!
Inside that mountain-like body standing 135 meters tall, who knew how much stuff was packed in there? She could spew out hundreds of tons of venom without it even making a dent in her reserves.
As long as it wasn't a fatal blow to a vital organ, sustaining a few wounds here and there really didn't seem to matter much to a body of her massive scale.
"Everyone, don't panic! That Titan Beast is still standing there. He will kill Shangang; he definitely will!"
Someone began to cheer and rally the others, trying to boost morale.
At a time like this, it was crucial to remain calm and confident; they couldn't afford to lose their heads.
Otherwise, falling short of success would be the least of their worries—the real fear was that it would devolve into a mutiny or a total rout.
Fortunately, if it were just empty talk, those sitting in the monitoring room weren't fools; it was highly unlikely they could be easily fooled.
But the hulking frame of Beast King Godzilla remained standing there, giving everyone plenty of confidence!
"Yes! Beast King Godzilla is right there; he will kill these monsters!"
"Hmm? Still moving?"
Seeing that half of Shangang's head had been blasted away, yet she was still able to move.
The latter seemed to have realized the terrifying power of Beast King Godzilla, or perhaps she had been scared witless by that blast of breath.
In any case, she twisted her body and began to flee toward the nearby sea.
She certainly wouldn't dare go near the coastal area where Beast King Godzilla and Yamata were located.
