Background
Godzilla emerges during the monster crisis as a new King of Monsters, first appearing near Sakurajima. He kills Iron Hammer with a breath attack, refuses to attack Sakura Saber, and then defeats Snake King through brute strength and Atomic Breath. His arrival quickly establishes him as the strongest newly emerged monster witnessed in years. 7 9
His actions differ from those of invading monsters because Luo Bing’s human soul initially resides within him. Luo Bing experiences Godzilla’s transformation through a mental countdown: charged Atomic Breaths consume ten minutes of transformation time, while rapid-fire shots consume one minute. 7 19
After growing through Evolution Points, Godzilla travels to Mount Fuji and subdues Yamata no Orochi’s eight heads. The submission confirms his position as Beast King among Earth’s Titans. 12 27
Appearance
Godzilla is a massive, black, upright reptilian Titan whose frame becomes progressively larger and more muscular as he evolves. His early form measures 85 m, but later growth takes him beyond 160 m and eventually to 600 m. 12 119 306
- Thick tail capable of sweeping the ocean and generating massive waves 6
- Jagged dorsal fins that protect his back and store energy for beam attacks 6 200
- Short forelimbs in his early form; later growth makes them viable standard combat weapons 12
- Dense, increasingly muscular body and reinforced external armor 191
- In Space Mode, two golden prism-like shoulder crystals emerge from his body 176
- Crimson Lotus forms suffuse his body with destructive red energy; Crimson Lotus Wings adds large wings 128 223
Personality
Godzilla is generally calm, reserved, and unwilling to roar or display force without reason. He rests frequently and does not seek conflict for its own sake, but becomes exceptionally violent when confronting invaders, ecological threats, or enemies that endanger his allies. 116 238
He is strategic despite his destructive reputation. He prioritizes hunting elite monsters before their subordinates can flee, spends accumulated stars on growth when recoil limits his attacks, and uses enemy behavior to test the limits of his abilities. 58 78 119
Luo Bing’s consciousness initially makes Godzilla notably friendlier toward humanity than an ordinary Titan might be. As Godzilla increasingly assimilates Luo Bing’s identity, however, he becomes less concerned with human approval and acts according to his own boundaries and judgment. 19 205 275
Abilities & Skills
Titan Physiology
Godzilla’s evolving size grants broad increases to strength, endurance, recovery, and close-quarters combat ability. 119
- Tears Steel Mountain’s limbs apart before firing a charged breath into its throat 43
- Defeats Four-Armed Satan by twisting its head 1080 degrees 61
- Withstands Supreme MUTO’s sonic roar despite internal damage 80 93
- Endures Guobite orbital-cannon fire behind an electromagnetic barrier 203
- Rapidly heals severe burns and injuries sustained during later battles 334 338
Atomic Breath and Charged Particle Cannon
Godzilla’s primary ranged weapon evolves from Atomic Breath into the Charged Particle Cannon. His quick Atomic Breath is suited to immediate attacks, while charged attacks deliver much greater destructive power. 7 12
- A fully charged Atomic Breath is initially called Atomic Annihilation 12
- Beam Breath reportedly reaches 30 km and exceeds 1000°C 179
- Charged Particle Cannon +10 requires a sufficiently large body to avoid harmful recoil 119 122
- Charged Particle Cannon +20 can fire with the speed of his former instant breath while retaining charged-shot power 167
- A +20 long-range shot destroys the asteroid carrying Caesar Ghidorah 159
Dorsal Fin Ray
Godzilla can fire energy through his dorsal fins, allowing him to attack targets beyond the direction of his mouth. 89
- Uses the technique during close combat with the Four-Armed Demon 89
- Severely wounds the Five-Headed King Beast, forcing it to retreat 126
- Cripples multiple Kings of Monsters in rapid succession 190
Crimson Lotus Mode
Crimson Lotus Mode converts dangerous energy overload into combat power and enhances Godzilla’s overall abilities, including regeneration. 128 172 176
- Has a documented safe activation period of one minute 128 176
- Grants the Crimson Lotus Particle Annihilation Ray, used to destroy Ghidorah 128
- Enables the Crimson Lotus Nuclear Explosion, which annihilates the Demon’s dispersed lesser forms 150 151
- Can be sustained and controlled more gently when Godzilla contains its energy within his body 222
Thermonuclear Electromagnetic Barrier
A defensive skill linked to the Charged Particle Cannon, learned after Godzilla reaches Cannon +10. 149 150
- Nullifies the Demon’s Micro-Oxygen Destroyer Beam 150
- Protects Mothra within its barrier during the battle against the Demon 150
- Resists multiple orbital-cannon strikes from the Guobite civilization 203
Space Mode
Space Mode transforms Godzilla into Space Godzilla through two Ghidorah-derived golden threads embedded in his shoulders. It consumes those threads gradually rather than Little Stars. 176
- Grants flight through gravity control 176
- Coronal Ray — wide-area, highly controllable beam capable of melting fortified structures 176 188
- Gravity Tornado 176
- Photon Electromagnetic Wave 176
- Photon Electromagnetic Barrier 176
- Emperor Destruction Particle Cannon — Space Mode’s ultimate technique 176
Crimson Lotus Wings
An evolution created through the Guobite Home Planet’s final will, granting Godzilla wings and planetary-scale energy. 223 224
- Enables aerial combat against the Demon and Deep Diver 224 226
- Uses Crimson Lotus Wings: Nuclear Explosion of Everything to destroy the Demon 226
- Supplies enough power for Godzilla to confront the Deep Diver’s escape barrier and devastate the Mediterranean battlefield 227
Hell Mode
Hell Godzilla is a dangerous late-stage form that uses ice-and-darkness-based power to contend with the Star Eater. 338 339
- Can be enhanced repeatedly; a single expenditure raises the form to maximum strength 338
- Produces destructive dark threads that even the Star Eater avoids touching casually 339
- Carries escalating sanity loss as its principal cost 339
Relationships
- Luo Bing — Human counterpart whose soul initially controls Godzilla; their identities increasingly merge as Luo Bing spends prolonged periods unable to return to human form. 7 19 205
- Mothra — Closest Titan ally. Godzilla entrusts her larva to Yamata no Orochi, protects her with his barrier, and carries her during Space Mode flight. 76 150 188
- Yamata no Orochi — Subordinate Titan whose eight heads submit to Godzilla; later guards Mothra at Mount Fuji. 27 76
- Rodan — Allied Titan who responds to Godzilla’s calls and joins other Titans in rushing to his aid. 85 126
- Scylla — Trusted subordinate who brings Godzilla intelligence about the Demon’s emergence. 85 132
- Kong — Defiant young Titan. Godzilla attempts to recruit him, but Kong refuses to submit. 60 61
- Supreme MUTO — Arch-rival and occasional indirect ally against invading monsters. Their conflicts are marked by Godzilla’s cannon attacks against its King Arms. 108 166
- Ghidorah — Longstanding enemy and rival. Godzilla ultimately buries Ghidorah’s skull in a sea trench after defeating him. 98 160
- The Demon — Recurrent mortal enemy whose adaptability produces several battles; they briefly become situational allies against the Guobite Home Planet’s destruction before their final confrontation. 150 218 226
- Humanity — Receives protection from Godzilla and supports him with Nuclear Meal airdrops, but remains wary of his growing independence and global influence. 127 156 263
- Little Green Men — Initially another alien civilization to assess; Godzilla later accepts their offering of Ghidorah’s Dragon Tendon and gives them an octopus in return. 291
- God-Godzilla — A higher-dimensional being connected to Luo Bing’s arrival in this world. It does not intervene merely to save Godzilla, acting only under conditions it sets for itself. 353 356
