Western culture was quite open, and Anna understood only too well the suffering of three grown men living together for a long time. Not to mention them—even she herself occasionally felt restless.

Li Wei was a step slower. Seeing the Darkseeker trying to attack the woman, he could not act too unusually either, so he ran over as well.

Anna, who had no idea what was going on, was knocked down by the pounce. Once she was down, the Darkseeker clawed at and licked her, making her scream in alarm.
Luckily, Robert had not removed the Darkseeker's handcuffs. Otherwise, that little T-shirt might have been torn apart.
Pinned beneath him without warning, Anna had never imagined the Darkseeker could be this desperate. She struggled frantically, trying to shove him away with all her strength, but she was no match for him and failed every time.
A little boy got out of the van behind them. Holding a dagger, he charged angrily toward the Darkseeker.
