Heart of Eternity (Part 2)

With a flash of light, the white pearl silently flew before Cai'er. The golden skull, Eternal Melody, also floated out, but as it drifted through the air, it gradually began to change. Like a mass of liquid, it pulsed continuously, shifting with every pulse until it ultimately took the form of Long Haochen's head, hovering before Cai'er.

The pearl of white death energy silently merged into it. At once, the originally golden Eternal Melody began to gleam with white light. Not only was there not the slightest trace of Death Aura, it was instead filled with a sacred presence.

The necklace hung around Cai'er's neck, the new Eternal Melody pressed against her chest. With a flash of white light, it silently embedded itself within her chest, just as it had before.

Cai'er only felt streams of cool energy emanating from the brand-new Eternal Melody, entering her body and merging into her spiritual energy. She did not need to do anything at all; her spiritual energy was slowly increasing on its own.

Eleiks had fused his death energy into Eternal Melody rather than letting her absorb it directly because he feared that the energy would be too immense for Cai'er to bear all at once. He had been thoroughly considerate.

Seeing the astonishment on Cai'er's face, Eleiks smiled faintly. "You need not thank me. This is merely the first gift I am giving you. As for the other gift, I will give it to you at the very end. And rest assured, since I have given you gifts, I will naturally see that you lovers are united at last. Otherwise, no matter how precious the gifts are, without him, nothing I gave you would make you happy."

At his words, both Long Haochen and Cai'er could not help revealing delighted expressions.
