The Beating Heart of Eternity (Part One)

"Thump, thump... thump, thump..."

What a wonderful sound! Only those who had truly lost it knew how precious a heartbeat was. The instant his heartbeat returned, Long Haochen's soul nearly froze. Yes, at that very moment, amid those powerful heartbeats, the spiritual power within Long Haochen's body surged from his heart throughout his entire body like a geyser erupting.

His heart contracted powerfully, expanded, contracted again, expanded again. An overwhelming sense of strength instantly spread through Long Haochen's body. It was not merely Internal Spiritual Power—even his External Spiritual Power merged into that powerful sensation. To his shock, Long Haochen discovered that with a single contraction and expansion, his newly reformed Heart of Eternity drew all the spiritual power in his body into his heart, then blasted it all back out.

One had to know that Long Haochen's spiritual power had already exceeded fifty thousand! In other words, the Heart of Eternity had actually contained a full fifty thousand Internal Spiritual Power. And even so, it seemed far from enough to satisfy its appetite.

How was this possible? A heart could contain spiritual power, and its capacity was far greater than that of a Spiritual Aperture. In the past, this was something Long Haochen could never have imagined. Yet at this very moment, this mighty state stood plainly before him.

His heart contracted, squeezing out spiritual power. The spiritual power in all his other Spiritual Apertures was drawn away by his heart, so naturally, they needed to absorb energy from the outside world to replenish themselves. At once, through inner sight, Long Haochen discovered that his blood vessels, meridians, and even his internal organs were dyed gold by the pure spiritual power amid the forceful beating of his heart. His Light Attribute could no longer be
