Cai'er raised her left hand, and a streak of golden light suddenly soared into the sky, hanging in midair before her. Immediately afterward, brilliant golden radiance burst forth, and an enormous seven-story pagoda appeared in the void.

A huge suction force suddenly erupted from beneath the pagoda. The Shadow Monarch, which had been entangled in battle with Cai'er, never imagined that she would suddenly use such a method.

The Tower of Eternity was a divine artifact, and one that had nearly evolved into a Super Divine Artifact. Though the Shadow Monarch was immensely powerful, do not forget that, in a sense, its true body could also be considered a type of vengeful spirit, somewhat similar to the Vengeful Spirit Monarch. And this Tower of Eternity had once been the powerful divine artifact the Holy Necromancer God, Necromancer Calamity Eleiks, specifically used to suppress vengeful spirits.

Although neither Long Haochen nor Cai'er had inherited Eleiks's necromantic magic, the Tower of Eternity's deterrence against all undead creatures still remained.
