  • Apophis advised Miskina to develop separate first-generation drugs for strength and healing before continuing to improve them toward immortality.
  • At Marine Headquarters, Zephyr praised Longinus's strength and achievements, and Longinus said he would accept an admiral promotion because it represented the Navy's honor.
  • Zephyr pointed out Ain's rare Rewind-Rewind Fruit and asked Longinus whether he wanted to try using it to restore his left hand.

  • Garp volunteered to handle a pirate fleet that attacked the warship, then sank its flagship with a piece of the deck.
  • Garp pursued the fleeing pirates after Longinus revealed that Vice Admiral Tsuru had lent them the warship.

  • Longinus explained to Gion and Garp how the Pirate Expo’s exhibition and auction areas worked as the group made its way toward the center of the island.
  • Garp challenged a pirate to arm-wrestle, frightening him into fleeing and setting off a panicked rush through the exhibition area.

  • Kaki chose to stay with Longinus, while Gion made him admit that he wanted to watch a performance.
  • The news of the Marines’ arrival spread, but the pirates avoided provoking them because Red-Haired was at the carnival, Kaido was drinking with Whitebeard, and Apophis stayed inside the palace.

  • Gratoni claimed Whitebeard and Red-Haired had lost crew members and said he knew the murderer.
  • Gratoni accused Longinus and showed footage depicting him killing a pirate, but Beckman pointed out that the recording was suspicious because Longinus's Observation Haki should have detected it.
  • Apophis attacked Gratoni for trying to fool and threaten him, then accused him of disguising himself and concealing the real Gratoni's murder.
  • The impostor revealed that he had eaten the Inu Inu Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Nine-Tailed Fox form, and admitted that he had killed Gratoni by impersonating his vice-captain.
