Apophis’s auction ignited a battle over Pure Gold, a Poneglyph, and an Eternal Pose, while Longinus rose to Admiral and secured Tom’s release by placing him in charge of a world-spanning train plan. The arc left Tom and Longinus recruiting Fish-Men for the project, Franky missing, and Apophis considering the moon as a site to build Pluton.

• Apophis held an auction amid the ruins, selling shells and an SIQ Potion before presenting Pure Gold and a damaged Poneglyph linked to Roger.
• The auction ended in a battle as Bullet stole the Poneglyph, Apophis helped him escape with it, and the island sank beneath the sea.
• The Five Elders ordered CP0 to monitor Apophis and buy his auction goods, while Marine Headquarters promoted Sengoku to Fleet Admiral and Borsalino, Sakazuki, Kuzan, and Longinus to Admirals.
• Longinus visited Water Seven, promised to help Tom, and persuaded the Five Elders to release him and put the Train Network Plan under his control.
• At Impel Down, Longinus defeated Shiryu, then recruited Tom as chief engineer and described how the train network could connect islands and improve their security and trade.
• Longinus and Tom went to Fish-Man Island, where Jinbe agreed to lead a Fish-Man force that would help guard the network and support integration with human society.
• Iceburg told Tom that Franky had run away and that the item Longinus had given him was missing, while Apophis proposed building Pluton on the moon.

Apophis and Kaido conquered Elbaf for its Adam Tree wood, then vanished into the dangerous sea near Laugh Tale. Longinus returned to Marine duty, protected Zephyr’s trainees from Weevil, and pursued Buggy to the Baratie, where he recognized Sanji as a Vinsmoke.

• Apophis brought Franky to the moon, revealed Pluto’s Blueprint, and persuaded him to build a weakened Pluton as a deterrent against the Space Pirates.
• Apophis and Kaido joined forces to conquer Elbaf and take its Adam Tree, battling Olaf and then fighting Longinus and Akainu before Apophis escaped with Kaido into another dimension.
• Apophis and Kaido entered the final sea in ships built from Adam Tree wood, while Longinus found Mihawk ruling the ruined Sizkear Kingdom and took Perona with him.
• Weevil attacked Zephyr’s trainee warship, severed Zephyr’s arm, and threatened the trainees before Longinus crushed Weevil’s weapon and blasted him away.
• Longinus revealed that his Observation Haki had shown him a future in which the trainees died and Zephyr grieved, then returned to Marine Headquarters and agreed to help teach them.
• Longinus investigated Buggy’s reported presence in the East Blue, protected Orange Town from hunger, and brought Smoker and the Marines to eat at the Baratie.
• Longinus recognized Sanji as Vinsmoke Sanji and explained that he had held him as a baby, while Zeff and the chefs stood by Sanji as the Marines questioned his connection to Apophis.
• Buggy’s crew stormed the Baratie and found Longinus, who announced that he had come specifically to capture Buggy, leaving the pirate terrified.

Longinus and the Marines fought Kaido, Big Mom, Apophis, and their allies, while Dragon broke into Impel Down and escaped with Victor. Ace began his New World journey and found an Ancient Stone Tablet, setting up a clash with Hak over the tablet and Ame no Habakiri.

• Longinus defeated Bullet, then let Red-Haired take Buggy while the returned Kaido, Apophis, and Big Mom stirred the seas.
• Apophis formed an alliance with the Charlotte Family, and the World Government prepared a war against Big Mom while Longinus tested the defenses of Imu’s temple through Wapol.
• The Marines attacked Whole Cake Island, where Kaido, Big Mom, Apophis, and their crews fought the Admirals, and Red-Haired’s arrival helped bring the battle to a halt.
• Dragon broke into Impel Down to find Ivankov and Inazuma, escaped with Victor, and fought Longinus and Kizaru before Victor’s vines helped them flee.
• Ace joined the Red Hair Pirates for a time, then set out with the Spade Pirates after rejecting the World Government’s Shichibukai offer.
• Longinus visited Vegapunk’s laboratory, where Kuma was being mechanized, and obtained an injection that could put a person’s consciousness to sleep.
• Ace accidentally opened an underground tomb and found an Ancient Stone Tablet, but Hak arrived to claim it and revealed Ame no Habakiri before Ace attacked him.

Ace was captured after Longinus defeated him, while the search for Pluton brought the World Government, the Revolutionary Army, and several pirates into conflict. Pluton was obtained and destroyed above Mary Geoise, the Revolutionary Army went underground, and the Straw Hats continued through Alabasta with Vivi and Robin.

• Ace fought King over Ame no Habakiri until Longinus arrived, then Rayleigh tried to help Ace and his companions escape before Longinus defeated him.
• Longinus reached Gold City and rescued Koala from Will, then attended an auction where bidders fought over footage of a devastating beam in the South Blue.
• Longinus seized the footage and headed for the South Blue, where Kid and the Masked Man pursued information about the Ghost Ship while Apophis fought Julius.
• Dragon, Sakazuki, and others entered the Ghost Ship, which proved to be Pluton, but Kizaru accidentally activated its controls and took command of the warship.
• After Pluton appeared above Mary Geoise, Imu stopped Julius from launching it, but Pluton exploded and devastated part of the Holy Land.
• Dragon denied attacking Mary Geoise and ordered the Revolutionary Army underground as rebellions spread across the world.
• Vivi led the Straw Hats through Alabasta, where Kuina departed to pursue her target and Zoro resolved to train harder after hearing of her victories.
• Vivi introduced Robin to the Straw Hats, and Robin offered Nami and Zoro information while privately wondering why Apophis had asked her to approach them.
