Lilith believed the father should know the truth. At the end, she even made a little joke.
Tatsumi instinctively looked at Mine. Mine covered her face, too afraid to look at Tatsumi.
Tatsumi looked at Leona again. Leona also turned her face away, not daring to meet Tatsumi's gaze.
Though she had only recently become a vampire, being able to "see" life force was one of a vampire's most basic abilities.
After hearing Lilith say that Mine was pregnant, Leona instinctively checked.

Tatsumi looked at Nacita again, but all he saw was her profile.

Nacita was right. With both Mine and Leona in Lilith's hands, there was no need to fabricate a child.
Other than provoking Tatsumi, it would serve no purpose.
But if Lilith truly wanted to provoke Tatsumi and make him lose his cool, with Mine in her hands, she had plenty of ways to do so. There was no need to make things this complicated.
