Divide Forces into Three Routes (Part 1)
"Roar! You bastards of Ishgar, I, Goodpes, am not finished with you!"
After roaring to the sky, Goodpes turned his gaze to Glaide.
"Glaide, do you know which secret realm the two people who killed Selisliu belong to?"
"When I fought them, they didn't mention which secret realm they belonged to, so I don't know which realm they belonged to. But judging from their skills, these two people must be extraordinary!"
Goodpes nodded silently, agreeing with Glaide's point of view, and then he asked, "Glaide, is your wound alright?"
When his superior asked about his injuries, Glaide felt very grateful. He puffed out his chest and said with tears in his eyes, "Goodpes your concern, Lord Goodpes. I only have some superficial injuries and I'll be fully recovered in a day or two."
"Good! Once your wounds are fully healed in two days, we'll launch a full-scale attack on Ishgar and avenge you and Selisliu!"
"Goodpes your kindness, Lord Goodpes!"
"Okay, go down!"
"Yes!"
After Glaide was helped down the mountain by Hit, another heated discussion broke out in the cave in Goodpes.
"Kelsu, do you think this guy's words can be trusted?"
"I think everything else is fine, but his decision to go to Ishgar alone to meet Selisliu is questionable. Furthermore, I think whether Selisliu really died at the hands of the Ishgar dragons still needs to be verified!"
"Hmph! Knowing Glaide as I do, his solo trip to Ishgar was definitely not to meet Selisliu, but for another purpose. The reason he did this is very likely to kill Selisliu without anyone knowing and then frame the people on the Ishgar side to clear his own name."
"If that's the case, why did you let him go in the first place?"
"Hmph! Kelsu, it's hard to find a capable pawn, and it's even harder to find one as capable and easily understood and controlled as Glaide! So as long as he's still valuable, I won't do anything to him. But if one day he loses his usefulness and wants to betray us, then I will not hesitate to send him to meet Selisliu!"
"Haha! How insidious! No wonder Delsd and the others said, 'Beware of fire, beware of thieves, beware of Goodpes!'"
"Haha! Same here!"
While everyone was busy with their own affairs, Time, that mischievous little fellow, quietly moved forward two steps, arriving at July 18th, X373. Although it was still a very ordinary day at the moment, for hundreds of years to come, every elder with rich experience would etch it into their mind, for this day marked the beginning of Asland's greatest festival— the Dragon King Festival!
That morning, Goodpes, who had lived in seclusion in his cave for years, stepped out of his comfort zone and came to the highest point of Artek Carl. At his feet stood all the dragons of Artek Carl, all looking at their great leader with reverence and listening to his teachings.
"Warriors of Artek Carl, tell me, who is the most superior race on the Western Continent?"
"Dragon Clan!"
Hearing the unified roar, a blush rose on Goodpes's face, and then he roared again, "Then tell me, among the most outstanding races in the Western Continent, which dragon Dragon Clan Secret Realm is the most powerful?"
"Artek Carl!"
"Good! Very good! So what will you do if someone attacks or kills someone from our secret realm?"
"Crush them!"
"Kill them all!"
"That's right! If anyone dares to treat us like this, we'll raze their land to the ground and slaughter their people."
After affirming his subordinates' words and actions, Goodpes glanced around at the scene at the foot of the mountain. Seeing the indignation and suspicion on their faces, he continued, "I think some of you have already guessed why I gathered you here and why I'm telling you all this. Yes, someone killed one of our Artek Carl men, and more than one!"
Upon hearing the explosive news from Goodpes, all the dragons at the foot of the mountain went into a frenzy.
"What? Someone actually dared to kill one of our Artek Carl's men? Is he tired of living?"
"Yeah, isn't that just courting death?"
"Lord Goodpes, tell me who did this! I'm going to strangle this bastard!"
"Strangle him? That's too easy on him. He should be roasted into charcoal!"
"No, we should freeze him into a lump of ice!"
Seeing the crowd about to erupt into argument, Goodpes waved for everyone to quiet down, then said, "You're all right. Anyone who dares to harm our people of Atek Carl will pay the price! So, after discussing with Kelsu and the other leaders, we've decided that our Atek Carl army will attack the northwestern coast of Ishgar, Leader Kelsu will lead his troops to attack the western coast of Ishgar, and Leader Delsd will lead his troops to attack the southwestern coast of Ishgar. Leaders Shideweig and Olibuk will remain on the Western Continent to guard our homeland."
"This time, we will use the blood of the dragons and humans on Ishgar to pay tribute to Chief Selisliu, who died young, and let those fools on Ishgar know the consequences of offending us, Atek Carl!"
As soon as Goodpes finished speaking, waves of cheers erupted from the audience, countless exhilarating dragon roars echoed throughout Artek Carl, and countless excited dragons soared through the sky.
After successfully completing their oath-taking ceremony, Goodpes led all of Atek Carl's forces, proceeding towards the northwest coast of Ishgar according to the previously established attack plan. At the same time, two other large forces set off from two other secret realms on the Western Continent, approaching the southwest and western coastlines of Ishgar.
On an open area near the palace in the capital city of Dragunov
"Once the Spatial Coordinates of the destination are determined, and Space Magic is injected into the center of the Teleportation Array, one can travel through space to reach the destination. As for the construction of the Teleportation Array..."
Sordil was about to continue his explanation when a guard rushed into the magic classroom, interrupting his lecture.
"Prince Sordil, Queen Irene has sent me to inform you of an urgent enemy situation on the western border!"
Upon hearing the guard's words, the displeasure of being interrupted from his speech instantly vanished from Sordil's heart. He turned to the group of students and said, "That concludes today's lesson on teleportation Magic Array. If anyone has any questions, please ask other students, or you can ask me when I return. Alright, I hereby declare class dismissed!"
After finishing his last class of the day, Sordil turned to the guard and said, "Sorry to have kept you waiting so long, you can go now!"
The guard nodded, then bowed his head and led the way, while Sordil followed behind, quietly pondering where his strategy might have faltered. In their silence, the journey was completed, and after a quarter of an hour, a magnificent, grey-blue palace appeared before them.
"Prince Sordil, the palace is not a place I can enter, so I can only escort you this far. The rest of the journey is up to you!"
"Yes! Thank you for your help, sir!"
