Gazing at the not-so-handsome yet sharply defined face in the sky, with its clear, deep silver-white eyes and flowing silver-white hair, Irene froze on the spot. A thousand words, previously stored in her heart, surged into her mouth, but not a single one could pass through the defenses of her teeth. Instead, the army of tears she had been holding back breached the guard of her eyes, running rampant across her face, leaving behind streaks of glistening tears.

After staring for a long time, all her words faded away, leaving only a plain and unremarkable sentence that came out of her mouth.

"You finally decided to come back?"

The person in the sky did not answer the question, but continued to dwell on the topic of doors and windows.

"You still haven't answered me. If there's no door, can't we make a window?"

Irene glared at him angrily, then said irritably, "No way! If I let you chip a window, would you even come back?"

"With such a beautiful wife at home, how could I bear not to come back!"

"Hmph! I wonder which guy abandoned his wife and ran away so soon after getting married, and he's been gone for more than half a month!"

Faced with Her Majesty the Queen's rebuke, Sordil landed in a flash, knelt on one knee before Her Majesty the Queen, and said with a pained expression, "Your Her Majesty the Queen, please forgive my heart for being so devoted to protecting the country. It was this heart that made me leave you, my beautiful and noble wife, and rush to the battlefield alone; it was this heart that made me stand guard at the border of the country and not be able to take care of you, my wife!"

Faced with General Oddek's 'confession', what could Queen Irene say but choose to forgive him?

"You bastard, you bully me as soon as you get back!"

"What do you mean? It was clearly Her Majesty the Queen who questioned me the moment we met. How could I dare to bully you?"

Just as Queen Irene was about to enter Sordil's arms and give him a few light punches on the chest, someone inappropriately appeared and ruined the atmosphere.

"Teacher, I'm sorry to bother you at this time! But I'm really hungry and need to eat. Could we go back to the palace and eat something first, so you two can continue your unfinished business?"

Sordil looked at Anna with a black line on his face, then casually rewarded her with a Maruko.

"What do you mean by 'let's continue our unfinished business'? Anna, which of us do you want to send away from this world? Little girl, have I not had a heart-to-heart talk with you lately, and you feel too relaxed?"

Upon hearing the words "heart-to-heart talk," Anna trembled all over. She hurriedly explained her previous behavior, "Teacher, I really didn't mean to disturb you just now. My stomach couldn't withstand the test of hunger and forced me to do that! Otherwise, how could your obedient and lovely disciple have spoken so inappropriately? And how could she have lost her mind and said such a stupid thing as continuing our unfinished business?"

"Hmm, that makes sense! However, this is a one-time exception, and there will be no next time!"

Having successfully avoided the extremely dangerous "heart-to-heart talk," Anna quietly wiped the cold sweat from her forehead and whispered with lingering fear, "Luckily I was quick-witted, otherwise, I would have been lucky to escape with my life!"

After Anna's antics, Irene's stomach began to rumble with energy warnings. Just then, Her Majesty the Queen realized she hadn't eaten anything that day, so she continued Anna's topic, saying, "Anna taught magic all day, so it's perfectly normal for her to be hungry. In that case, let's go back to the palace for dinner now!"

With his wife speaking, Sordil naturally dared not object.

"That's good. It'll allow the chefs to cook the ingredients from the Western Continent that I brought back into dishes, so you can all have a taste!"

Hearing that there were unfamiliar delicacies to try, Anna jumped up with joy, excitedly shouting, "Yay! We're going to eat something delicious!"

Unlike the naive Anna, the moment Irene heard about the ingredients from the Western Continent, her first thought wasn't about food, but rather what dangerous thing Sordil had done this time.

"You rascal, did you secretly infiltrate the Western Continent?"

"Yes! Otherwise, where would I get so many ingredients from the Western Continent?"

"Bang!"

No sooner had Sordil finished speaking than he saw a pink fist come flying toward his eye socket, and then (I don't need to tell you, you can guess!)... Black-eyed Sordil was back in action.

"Sordil, you bastard! What did you promise me back then? Didn't you say you would act prudently and never take any risks?"

"Irene, let me explain. The situation was like this: the enemy was forced into a corner by our scorched-earth policy and began to send supplies from the rear to support the front lines. If they got these supplies, they could successfully establish a foothold in Ishgar, and then it would be impossible to drive them out of Ishgar!"

"You..."

Looking into Sordil's eyes, Irene didn't know what to say, and finally her resentment turned into a long sigh.

"Sigh! You... I don't even know what to say to you!"

"Since you don't know what to say, then say nothing at all. Just be a quiet and beautiful queen!"

"Pfft!"

Irene, who was torn between her husband's safety and the safety of the mainland, instantly turned from worry to joy and beamed with happiness upon hearing these words.

"You bastard, all you do is say sweet things to make me happy!"

"These aren't just empty words; they're the truth!"

Just as the two were about to enter into a state of perfect union again, Anna's big light bulb 'shine' once more, illuminating their surroundings as if it were daytime.

"Teacher, I'm so hungry! When are we going back to the palace to eat?"

Sordil forcibly suppressed the urge to beat Anna up, forcing a stiff smile onto his calm face, and then said softly, "Okay, let's go back now! Oh, by the way! Anna, we haven't seen each other for so long, let's have a good chat after dinner."

Seeing the smile on Sordil's face, Anna felt that this meal might be her last. After 'threatening' Anna, Sordil took out many packages from his storage space and handed them to Irene.

"Irene, the package contains the ingredients I just mentioned. Take them back to the palace, cook them, and wait for me to return!"

Seeing Sordil begin setting up the Teleportation Array, Irene exclaimed, "You bastard, where are you going?"

"There are still some ingredients in the storage space. I brought them for my men who stayed behind in Fostadu. I'm going to deliver them now and I'll be back soon!"

Upon learning that Sordil had only returned to Fostadu to visit his subordinates, Irene's anxiety finally subsided. She urged Sordil, who was stepping onto the Teleportation Array, "Then you'd better hurry back, or there won't be any food for you in the palace!"

Sordil reached out and pinched Irene's cheek, then said affectionately, "Don't worry, I'll definitely be back before dinner!"

After saying that, Sordil disappeared from the training ground, leaving Anna, who was almost starving, and Irene, who looked happy, standing there.

Cuyis Tree Sea, Teleportation Cave

"Buzz"

"Smack!"

Sordil, who had just arrived at the cave through the Teleportation Array, accidentally stepped into thin air and had a close encounter with the ground.

"Looks like I need to get someone to fix the ground here, otherwise I'll slip and fall again next time I come here!"

After getting up from the ground, Sordil stomped his foot angrily and said resentfully. Having vented his frustration, and remembering the purpose of his return, the young master Sordil calmly flew towards Fostadu.
