Sordil Picking Peaches
Looking up at the other dragon standing to the northwest, Hit's mood plummeted. It meant his escape route back to camp had been cut off by the enemy. Moreover, judging from the enemy's deployment, finding reinforcements was impossible. Now, he had only two options: first, kneel and surrender, awaiting judgment; second, do the opposite, abandoning the attempt to return to camp and instead marching into enemy territory.
After weighing the pros and cons, Hit decided to take a gamble and leave his last remaining hope of survival to fate.
"Explosive Wind Waterfall"
After casually unleashing a tornado to block his opponent's view, Hit controlled his body to move closer to the ground.
"Trying to run? No way!"
Having been outmaneuvered by Hit, the dragon, now without its target, roared in anger and gave chase.
"They've caught up! Excellent!"
Seeing the enemy closing in as he had predicted, Hit was overjoyed. However, he didn't become complacent because of this small success of his trick, after all, the scars of being outsmarted by a certain dragon still lingered in his body. So, he continued with his original plan, trying his best to control his body and fly towards his destination. As he approached the forest, the road ahead and the large potholes in the road surface finally came into Hit's view.
"Whoosh"
Hit twisted his body with all his might to avoid crashing into the crater, then drew a perfect 'U' shape in the crater before charging upwards. Because there was a certain distance between the pursuers and Hit, when Hit emerged from the crater, the pursuers were already headfirst into it.
Upon seeing the fighter jet he wanted to create appear, Hit did not hesitate for a moment and immediately launched an attack.
"Chaotic Dragon Tornado"
"Flowing Wind Wall"
In an instant, smoke and dust filled the air and a fierce wind raged through the crater, and an inverted cone-shaped wind wall appeared at the outer edge of the crater.
"Ah! My eyes!"
The dragon, tricked into the pit by Hit, cried out loudly while covering its tear-streaked eyes. Faced with such a golden opportunity to escape, Hit was not about to waste it; he decisively flew southeast.
Similar battle scenes were commonplace in the vicinity, but few dragons could make the same precise judgments as Hit, and even fewer could make such precise judgments and successfully escape! Of course, these dragons didn't know that even if they escaped this sneak attack, they might not be able to escape the subsequent pursuit. They also didn't know that the duration of this situation would be enough to drive any one of them mad or even to suicide.
Kingdom of Donagunov, Royal Palace Martial Arts Arena
After spending a few shameless days with Irene, Instructor Sordil was dragged into the classroom by his prized student, who was also the current teacher of the Space Magic training class—Miss Anna —to give the first batch of students in the Space Magic training class a final lecture.
"Teacher Anna has already taught you the basics of Space Magic. Now I will teach you some practical techniques related to Spatial Teleportation Array."
"Slap slap"
As soon as Sordil finished speaking, a burst of enthusiastic applause erupted from below the stage. After a moment, the applause subsided, and then a dozen or so pairs of large eyes, including Anna's, were all fixed on Sordil, as if afraid of missing any important details.
"As we've discussed before, a Teleportation Array is essentially a medium that connects two Spatial Coordinates, allowing people or objects to overcome physical distances and travel between the two locations in a very short time. Therefore, if we already know the Spatial Coordinates of a certain place, we can directly use Space Magic to connect the two locations, thus achieving the effect of using Teleportation Array. However, this method has very high requirements for the purity of Space Magic and the amount of magic reserves, so it's best not to use this method unless absolutely necessary, otherwise, you are very likely to suffer a backlash."
"Furthermore, Spatial Teleportation Array are not fixed; they can be adjusted according to the user's magic purity, the teleportation distance, and the accuracy of the teleportation."
"Oh, right! Spatial Teleportation Array can actually perform not only Planar Teleportation, but also Inter-dimensional Teleportation."
As Sordil finished his explanation, Miss Anna asked, "Teacher, what is Planar Teleportation, and what is Inter-dimensional Teleportation?"
After gesturing for Anna to sit down, Sordil explained, "Planar Teleportation refers to teleportation within the same world, like when we teleport from Ishgar to the Western Continent. Inter-dimensional Teleportation, on the other hand, refers to teleportation between two different spaces. For example, constructing Teleportation Array from here to travel to the Spirit World would be considered Inter-dimensional Teleportation."
"Oh, I see!"
Seeing the eager look on Anna's face, Sordil hurriedly warned, "Inter- Spatial Teleportation Array are currently only in the theoretical stage and have not yet reached the level of practical operation, so please do not try them, otherwise you may lose your life!"
As intelligent as Anna was, how could she not understand that Sordil was warning her? So she nodded obediently to her teacher. Whether she was truly obedient in her heart was another matter entirely!
After reprimanding Anna, Sordil continued explaining the techniques of using Space Magic to everyone until dusk, when they finally dispersed. For the next few days, Sordil's schedule consisted mainly of teaching during the day and then spending his evenings indulging in shameless, intimate moments with Irene or Grandiere.
Time flies like water, and before we knew it, it was September 10th, X373.
On this day, the royal palace training ground of the Kingdom of Donagunov was brightly decorated. A dozen elite members of the Western Border Army, wearing black hats, stood in neat rows on the training ground, quietly awaiting the inspection of the Commander and Chief Instructor.
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
Magical fireworks rose from the ground, creating a dazzling spectacle. Against this perfect backdrop, a silver-white figure slowly walked to the high platform in the center of the arena. Looking down at his subordinates, who stood like javelins, a surge of honor welled up in Sordil's chest.
"Gentlemen, as your Commander, I must commend you; you are all fantastic! However, as your head instructor, I must say something else: you still have a long way to go, and you need to work harder!"
"Perhaps you think I'm a bit mentally unstable, but I must tell you, the place you're about to go is an incredibly terrifying battlefield! There, no matter how cautious you are, it won't be enough! Unfortunately, you guys don't even know what caution is, so you're far from being qualified for the battlefield! But now I have no other choice, so I can only irresponsibly send you to the battlefield so you can hone yourselves through real combat and become qualified soldiers!"
"Here, I want to apologize to everyone and hope that you can forgive my selfish behavior!"
At this point, Sordil stopped speaking and bowed deeply to the audience. He didn't straighten up until half an hour later. Looking at the solemn faces and red-rimmed eyes below, Sordil understood that these dozen or so warriors were prepared to die on the battlefield.
As their commander, Sordil had only one choice left at this moment. So, with all his might, he shouted with immense pride, "Western Border Army, Space Magic Division, move out!"
